  1. You're very close to going full Steven 'This does not fucking slip!' Gerrard.
  2. The break could go either way - either the players will come refreshed back or they will be in the same state as now, where the team haven't been able to put in a 90 minutes performance because the players looked gassed in the second half of matches.
  3. The remaining selected tough fixtures (on paper): CHELSEA Man United (h) Spurs (h) Man City (h) Sheffield United (a) Liverpool (a) Wolves (h) P.S. Sheffield, Liverpool and Wolves are 3 of our last 4 league games. They might or might not matter by then... TOTTENHAM Chelsea (a) Wolves (h) Man United (h) Sheffield United (a) Arsenal (h) Leicester (h) MAN UNITED Chelsea (a) Man City (h) Spurs (a) Sheffield United (h) Leicester (a)
  4. Let's see whether the players would refreshed after a 2-week break. Although there is every chance of Lampard overworking the players again...
  5. Liverpool only need 6 more league wins to win the title. SIX. Could win it at Everton!
  6. Our squad ain't great, that we all know but don't tell me you wouldn't be moaning if we had signed Bergwijn and Fernandes. If you're talking about option, then we have options too! It's just not being utilized properly but that's another debate.
  7. It's 2 in their last 5. In the last 5 league games, Spurs have picked only 1 point more than us (7 to 6).
  8. By unsustainable, I meant their shot count today. They're not gonna get lucky and win every game if they continue to have that few shots as today.
  9. Two relatively small signings and you're losing your shit? If we had been the ones who signed Bergwijn and Fernandes, would you be confidently claiming we'll finish in the Top 4 or would you be moaning about the board signing average players? Spurs' form since our inconsistent run started has hardly been much better. And this is a Spurs side who recently lost to Southampton, dropped points at Norwich and Watford.
  10. But that's not sustainable, is it? On another day, they could have been on the end of a 4-0 spanking.
  11. Seriously, how the hell have Spurs shithoused their way to this?
  12. I WILL FOREVER DESPISE FEBRUARY 2, 2020.
  13. Subsequent games will be a better indicator. This game doesn't prove that when they've shithoused their way a 2-0 lead with just 2 shots while City missed countless of opportunities.
  14. lol We are not even good away from home anymore!
  15. Whether Lampard succeeds in the long term remains to be seen but that doesn't mean Sarri was the right manager for us. Had he still been in charge, some of the younger player might have left, we would seeing the likes of Pedro, Willian starting every week, the same Barkley-Kovacic sub every game etc. Sarri was lucky that he had Hazard to bail him out of bad situations last season. Imagine he had to manage the squad without him and not being able to buy players!
  16. The same can be said for some of our players who have been overplayed by Lampard. In any case, the quicker Pulisic gets fit again, the better it is for us because he'll give us another attacking option (e.g. he could feast on James' crosses if we get our attacking play right). We're gonna need everyone available for our run-in.
  17. Didn't know Caballero is our striker.
  18. If they beat Wolves, they'll be 4 points behind us, not 1.
  19. Ighalo to score a 95th minute winner...
