Incredibly frustrating. Those chances squandered have cost us dearly. Mata and Oscar were the main culprits! Absolutely criminal not to bury those chances when we created so many! On the brighter note, we looked solid defensively for once after all the comical defending in recently. Just 1 slack marking from Ramires ended up costing us! Thought we pressed and defended well as A UNIT. Didn't allowed them to have time on the ball and forced them into making mistakes. That being said, we just seem to lost it after their equalizer. Became panicked and ran out of ideas. Could have lost it in the end. And IF there is one major criticism about RDM now, it is his tendency to make late substitutions and not early when it is needed. RDM has always seemed to wait till beyond the 70th minute mark before making any changes. Can't expect much impact with little time! Need to change early on IF it's not working or inject freshness into the team and replace the tired ones out there. Mourinho used to change things around early in games if things are not working and HECK, even AVB does it occasionally!

No doubt he needs morale support(as any other player need too) but I don't think it will be to that extent we're giving Torres now where we almost have to cater everything to his liking and pamper him!

Apparently, Liverpool fans are gonna bring this to the Bridge today... http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/shocking-liverpool-banner-heading-to-chelsea-suggests-jimmy-savile-is-fernando-torres-dad/

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/marko-marin-tempted-by-return-to-former-1429712 A pretty BS transfer story!

He has a preference of playing in the Premier League and there will no short of suitors for him come next summer. Juventus are probably more likely to go for Llorente given that his contract at Bilbao expires next summer.

Sunderland have won only 1 of their last 18 Premier League matches and there is hardly a talk about Martin O'Neill being under pressure. Nigel Adkins could be the first to get the sack if things keep on going the way it is at Southampton. They just can't get a win at the moment and leaking quite a lot of goals too. Next weekend, there is going to be a massive relegation dogfight as QPR(in 20th) host Southampton(in 19th) at Loftus Road.

Has his mother actually spoke publicly about things like that before? Sounds pretty BS to me if this is the first time she's doing it or just someone trying to grab some sort of spotlight in the media.

Not liking how close Everton and West Brom are to us. Both are only 3 points behind us at the moment and somemore, we travel to the Hawthorns next weekend to face West Brom. To make matters worse for us, United and City can just concentrate on the league from now onwards while we still have to contend with the distraction of the Champions League. United have already secured top spot and qualification for the Last 16 while City are virtually out of the competition.
-
That was downright depressing. You just know United were going to win once they got the first. Inevitable but yet so frustrating to watch every single time.
-
Apparently, Skrtel has picked up a virus and might not feature in tomorrow's game. Carragher likely to take his place if Skrtel misses out.
-
And I believe you should try doing the same too since you claimed the others have created more chances than Mata.

In other news, Zola's Watford just hammered 10-man Leeds 6-1 at Elland Road!

Seems that people just can't help themselves these days to compare one of our players with someone else. Anyway, please stay on topic and not turn this into an 'Oscar v Moura' thread!
-
Or better, beat them! But really though, can't see Villa getting anything today. They are an extremely average side and lack any real quality these days. A stark contrast to the team they had only 2-3 years ago.

Yes but the main problem here is that Spain will travel all the way to Panama to play the friendly! It wouldn't be so bad if it's gonna be played in Spain.
-
And you know there is a possibility of us messing up against them. Would be so typical of us if it happens, again...
-
Seems whoever was managing that account really fooled us all!

The irony of suggesting Mikel/Ramires to be benched and then putting Oscar and Mata in CM. That lineup is even more suicidal than now! Mata is not a CM to begin and Oscar can play as a CM but he's not a workhorse like Ramires where his energy and workrate is essential in that midfield of ours. That said, the problem we are conceding the goals is not because of the 4-2-3-1 formation. It's because of our defensive organization as a team. If no one tracks their player, get back into the defensive shape quickly, cover up the spaces etc, then we are bound to get exploited like we are now and no change of formation is gonna solve that. Players make formation works, not the other way round.
