But even when there are reports reporting such things, you chose not to believe it..

I don't recall reading anything about changes to the seedings. No changes for now AFAIR. And yes, the Europa League winner will get a spot in the following season's Champions League from 2015/16 onwards. Funny how suddenly you decided to believe the media on transfer rumours.

We did. Most of the league defeats last season came before a Champions League match but on the other hand, none of the league games after a CL match (in particular the group stage games) were all big games like the ones we have this season.
-
Maybe the secret is to play like crap if we are to win there. When we seem to do well against them, we can't get the right result..
-
Woops. My bad.
-
Why confused?

Just saw the fixtures of the other teams. City will be away at Bayern before they face us while Arsenal will play host to Galatasaray before facing us and Liverpool will play Real Madrid away before that match on November 8.
-
Here are the fixtures' dates for our group games. Also stated the league games before and after those.. 13/9 - Swansea (H) 17/9 - Schalke (H) 21/9 - Man City (A) 27/9 - Aston Villa (H) 30/9 - Sporting Lisbon (A) 5/10 - Arsenal (H) 18/10 - Crystal Palace (A) 21/10 - NK Maribor (H) 26/10 - Man United (A) 1/11 - QPR (H) 5/11 - NK Maribor (A) 8/11 - Liverpool (A) 25/11 - Schalke (A) 10/12 - Sporting Lisbon (H)

On a side note, it's Lampard v Cole in Group E...
-
Full group stage draw: Group A - Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Olympiakos, Malmo FF Group B - Real Madrid, Basel, Liverpool, Ludogorets Razgrad Group C - Benfica, Zenit St. Petersburg, Bayer Leverkusen, AS Monaco Group D - Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray, Anderlecht Group E - Bayern Munich, Manchester City, CSKA Moscow, AS Roma Group F - Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Ajax, APOEL Nicosia Group G - Chelsea, Schalke, Sporting Lisbon, NK Maribor Group H - FC Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, Athletic Bilbao, BATE Borisov Like that group. Decent enough and we better not make life difficult for ourselves again, like last season.
-
It's always on a Friday for games at the weekend.
-
Precisely. And like I pointed out previously, immediately after 4 of our 6 group matches, we'll be facing City, United, Liverpool and Arsenal with the first three being away games. Having to play 2 big games and potentially high tempo and intensity ones in 3-4 days is rather suicidal, when we can (hopefully) avoid such scenario.
-
Funnily enough, that is our one and only win from the last 6 league trips to Goodison Park.
-
Can't understand people's fascination of wanting a tough group. It's like they have some death wish or something. Better off playing it in FIFA or FM!
-
To those wishing we get the big teams in the group stage, don't forget that immediately after 4 of our 6 group matches, we'll be facing Man City(A), Arsenal(H), Liverpool(A) and Man United(A) in the league.
