Official site says that Cole is fit; Ivanovic is suspended of course, Oriol Romeu is ill (DAMMIT) & Bertrand has a knock (I think, forgot now).

Even for £40 it isn't ideal for me. £20 would be perfect, tbh. I might get it for my birthday or something... such a classy kit so I'm sad to see £50 price on it. But then again yeah sports direct or even JD might lower the price in the following months.

Say... we have a big run of games coming up for some reason. Spurs away, then 2 days later Barca home and then 3 days later Man Shitty away. Ivanovic can't play RB for all of those games and the rest of the season, so we'd need backup. Then if Terry gets injured. Welp time to play Cahill & Luiz for the rest of the season until Terry returns... :/

Nah, not naive but if we phase out all of the old guard and bring in new peeps, that will be bad. Just a bunch of players with no chemistry; at least right now we can win games with the right people. With youth coming in we can get a bit more an edge to the way that we play. And note: Josh isn't playing for the Swans because they're always screwing up and Rodgers doesn't want to play Josh and make it worse. If they're winning, Josh can come in and continue the winning.

I don't even think we need any of those players. Here's like starting XI for next year: Cech/Courtois Hutch/Iva - Terry/Cahill/Luiz - Cole/Bertrand Essien/Mikel/Romeu - Lamps/Meireles Studge/Kalou - Mata/McEachran - KDB/Mata Torres/Drogba/Lukaku Really, Lamps/Meireles can rotate between Mata/McEachran and KDB. And also maybe promote one more defender for CB; a tough run of games and injures could stuff us. Ivanovic going to CB would mean Hutchinson for a lot of games, when he still needs to go through one breakthrough season coming off the bench and all.
