  1. Some nice comments about Chalobah: " I remember watching John Barnes for the first time and being blown away. I had the same feeling watching Chalobah when he came on against Brighton. Shame he's not ours. Let's hope we can extend his loan in January.” "People moan about having players on loan , but when you get a chance to watch a player with such natural ability play in a Watford shirt , it is extremely exciting.” " Can't believe he's only 17...and English. Unfortunately it's what's wrong with the Premiership, young players with great talent and destined to play in our English team, fade away into obscurity, unable to get in the first team. He plays in that typical Chelsea holding role, that the club seems to have had abundance of players playing over the years. I love a player who never looks at the ball when he recieves it. Quality player who I hope we get all season " Was head and shoulders above the rest in the first half on Saturday. Such confidence and composure on the ball, giving orders to players a lot older than him. Natural talent and leader. Very bright future. Hopefully can stay for the whole season” " he is so good why the **** did he move back to defence on Saturday. We totally lost our way after that ! Bad decision by Zola me thinks.”
  2. Twice he's done it this season as well.
  3. Sooner Sturridge comes back the better.
  4. Could be four if you include Josh and Hutch
  5. This was about a week or so ago, Hutch was sent back to Cobham just for standard, precautionary tests after having a minor injury on his knee, isn't related to the recurring problems he has but it was just in case.
  6. Well the oldest of the younger players..
  7. Lalkovic is currently a bench player at a mid-table Portoguese side at age 20...used to show promise but I'd say he's been bypassed by Piazon, Bamford, and B.Clifford, and that's only the older players.
  8. For the person saying he can't play in a midfield two - he saw his best form for Genk there.
  9. Chalobah I think will be shifted between defence and midfield often.
  10. Just dribbled into players as he usually does.
  11. Haven't heard anything of it, Hutchinson was sent back to Cobham for tests after getting injured.
  12. FT 2-2 I'd give de Bruyne 6-7 /10, was still one of Bremen's best players. Covered a lot of ground and has a bit of flair about him. He's also not that slow, his acceleration is poor but when he's upto speed he shifts. Passing was poor at times though. Played on the right of a midfield 3 in a 4-3-3. I think he could cover all positions in a 4231 bar the CF. Hopefully mainly in the 2.
  13. Very good goal, received the ball edge of the area, classy touch to the striker who returned the 1-2, and nice finish with his 'weaker' foot. 2 goals in 4 league games now I think.
  14. He is live today on ESPN Classic
  15. And did well. Watford fans full of praise for him - most surprised he's just 17. Played midfield.
  16. Chalobah also started and did well today
  17. Because he made such a big impact at a PL club? Of course everything is AVB's fault.
  18. http://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news/article/hope-for-hutch-378801.aspx Basically saying his injury isn't too serious and is in contention for the next game
  19. But I'm sure if those stats were in Torres' favour it would be an example of how good he was, and how the team isn't on the level he is? Probably some sort of arguement about how he's always making runs and the team doesn't pick them out so everyone hates Torres. Boohoo, poor Fernando, etc.
  20. Miller was good at West Brom at one point but after his injury he hasn't been anywhere near the same. Shame, even without his injury he'd never be, say, good enough for England, but he'd be a decent PL forward IMO. Anyway nice to see Josh, Hutch and now Chalobah all already making an impact or their teams.
  21. Watford Talk ‏@Watford_Rumours @ChelseaActivity Very composed, strong, played the ball well. If you didn't know him you'd say his natural position was CM. Fantastic.
