Yeah, a one year extension would be nice. People forget he was one of our best players a few seasons ago. His been below average this season but he has the ability to improve... just look at Giggs and even Scholes. Just because his old it doesn't mean his a bad player. Keep the faith.

Drogba, Ashley Cole, Malouda and Belletti didn't perform today. Saying, that on another day we could of won this game quite comfortably. We had the chances to win but it didn't happen in the end. Birmingham were really well organized and defended really well, we just had to break them down. Birmingham have never been in better form and away from home it was always going to be a tough game. Hart was quality all game and it's always going to be hard to beat a keeper in that sort of form. I do wonder why Ancelotti didn't bring on J.Cole earlier and why Zhirkov was unused. We are 5 points clear and on another day we could of won this quite easily. Today we were unlucky and it didn't happen.

I don't see why it's so important we sign him. Firstly, we haven't got the hardest fixture list in January anyways. We could have Anelka up front on his own or with one of the youngsters. This could be a great time for Kakuta, Borini and Strurridge to prove their worth. We also have the option of bring backing Di Santo who has done well at Blackburn. We are also going to have to pay a lot of money for Aguero who might not be even first choice with Anelka and Drogba. I doubt he will like sitting on the bench as well. While also he's just getting in the way of our youngsters anyway.

Exactly. Firstly we really need to get over this Hunt business. The only thing Cech struggles with is crossing. Which lets be honest can be worked on in training. Even though there are about 3-4 keepers in the Epl that are better than Cech i wouldn't trade him for anyone.

Firstly, his only 24. He still has time to improve as a player and with some work could become a regular starter for us in a few seasons time. I don't think he has been in the best of form this season but why the hell does he make Chelsea look inferior when he comes on? When he has came on in previous seasons he has at times changed the game for us. With his pace we have looked more threatening going forward and more likely to score. His unfortunate as well he will start one game and know he may be dropped for the next which is never good for a striker. With some work and if he played on a more consistent bases he could improve dramatically. Anyway why.... would you sell him to Arsenal? It's the worse team he could possibly go too.

Could work. I believe J. Cole's best postion is at the top of the diamond. Probably would do a better job than Lampard is doing so far in that position in my opinion.

To be fair to Deco he does have a point. I honestly think he could still do a good job for us. He started the season on fire. He has had fitness problems and some bad luck this season. And i would think about taking a gamble on him next season. But ageing players is not what we need.

Have we actually got this guy yet? IMO i reckon he will get more playing time than people think. Drogba and Anelka are never injury free and both are getting on a bit. With the African nations coming up this season too. He will also learn a lot from Drogba and Anelka which will help him develop. I do think he will be given chances but he's just going to end up like SWP and Sidwell for example. He has a attitude problem and he's not going to want to be sitting on the bench for the next few years. I hope im wrong but in a few years i think he will be looking for another club.
