I did not watch the game but the pk problem is something I don't care much. Conceding from another set pieces is something that is more concerning. It is almost a sin for any team let alone a good team to concede from set pieces. My question for anyone who watch the game, how is our midfield? Against wolves, our midfield could not feed our forward, hence Willian was arguably our most important player because his ability to bring the ball from midfield to forward line.

Am I confident against Valencia? Nope. Our play is so inconsistent right now in games let alone between games. We can look at one point absolutely have no clue on how to progreas the ball to suddenly score bunch of goals and at the same time concede goal after goal. It feel like every game is a roulette.

Like I said, if you want player to create chances in final 3rd Willian is probably not your guy. I think most people want their winger to be fantastic in final 3rd that is fair. Then you need to have a team and system that suit that player. In the end of the day, that is what it is all about what kind of role do you want him to play. In our case yesterday, Willian playing his role was needed. His running opened up everything for our offense, I can see pedro, Puli or Cho struggling in yesterday game.

The thing is he is more of a right midfielder rather than a winger. Rather than picking the ball up high, he is picking the ball deep and bringing it forward. That is his quality, in the final 3rd I honestly have given up on willian. Anything that I can get from him in term of assist and goals are bonus. If you want goal and assist better play CHO/Pedro or maybe puli

I don't think playing time is the problem with CHO. It is obvious that he will play a lot more this season based on last season. It is $$$

The problem with Willian is people want him to be creator and scorer in final 3rd but we have seen enough of him to say that he is not that. What he is good at is bringing the ball up from midfield. With him we play almost like 352 rather than 343. I don't want to compare him to Puli. I haven't watch enough of puli game to make enough judgment. But in our current setup and players Willian is very important especially if we want to get the best out of Mount.

This has been far more enjoyable team to watch than last season. Fun too watch, very chaotic. We probably will lose tons of games this season but as long as we are not in relegation zone I have no problem. Keep playing youth and start mixing and matching player to understand their best role. But like I said before. It is very important to have a plan for the future on how to build this team into a tittle winner othewise fun to watch but win nothing is not what I want.

We need kante to be fit and ready. Our problem is dealing with player who play between the line the like of Madison, Cantwell, and firmino.

Our defense is very concerning.Like you said in previous post wolves is a counter attacking team there is no way we can concede 2 goals. The same against Sheffield united, they are a championship level talent team and same thing happen.
