It is hard to defend Willian from this forum. Against Brighton, Willian was the only guy who can consistently bring and keep the ball forward yet that mean nothing. People say but his final ball suck, if the ball never get to the final 3rd there is no final ball.

I understand why he is being phased out by Conte and maybe Sarri. With Hazard on the left, your right winger need to be excellent at making run (pedro best trait), Willian not so much. The problem right now hazard is gone. We need somebody in "Hazard" role. Somebody who can simply pick the ball deep with back behind goal and drive forward. Can CHO do this consistently? Right now I don't know and it is better for him to take it slow. In two years time, I think so. So there is no reason to keep Willian after that.

It is dumb for Lamp to extend Willian contract, he will be 32 in the end of his contract. By then it is better of playing youth for his slot

You want your holder to play more static role. Everyone does this. Yes they can push forward at times but in general you want him to be more conservative especially when he has two attacking mid in Barkley and Mount next to him.

The problem with Jorginho is that he played better last year yet received tons of hate. Against Brighton he played like dynamic playmaker and he receive tons of praise that show how perception by media change everything.

How about play a bit more conservative. He was running pressing everywhere, the moment he was beaten he simply can't recover because he is slow.

People will hate my observation of the game. Willian played well very agressive especially on the left, but with CHO slowly coming, Willian should play on the right. I wish Willian and Mount can develop partnership so one drop deep and one push up high. That should be a very fun combination on the right. Barkley is just awful and Tammy is still up and down. Tomori is an absolute gem, very comfortable on the ball and what a defender. The biggest problem for me is Jorginho. People here praised Jorginho. In fact some people think he was motm. He was playing holder like playing all action playmaker. If he want to play that way, he need a holder next to him and he better produce like Cesc.
