I knew that I will have to defend Mount. It is the same story with most functional player in the team similar to Wijnaldum for pool. Why Mount play? It is simple Havertz can't track fb CHO can't track fb. It is so obvious after bayern and Brighton game. So who should we play against pool?

So we can't bring the ball up. But the few time we get the ball up high, can we keep the ball? Nope,same story as last season no william no Giroud, no control - > basketball game, but it was one way traffic basketball game. So we can't progress the ball, we can't keep the ball, can we win the ball high? Are we a good pressing team?? Not sure, you better be sure when pressing against pool otherwise it will be sprint race against mane and salah all night long. So now what is the point of playing offensive lineup when you don't have the ball.

Unlike werner who play behind opp line, Havertz will need to deal with epl physicality, it will take time for him to adjust similar to puli.

Even pep team who pretty much far dominat than our team play a destroyer aka Fernandinho as his dm.

I am not sure by people complaining about tactic. Did we setup to play defensive football? Not so much. We just can't escape their press and keep the ball. Our only way of playing was through Werner behind, where he got 2/3 good opportunity one on one against Fabinho.
