I am confident...Everton will hit us with all they can..They are a tough side....(but) we ll win it by the odd goal...The problem then is that , i think im right in saying this, that when you play a team in the league n then in a cup match, one finds a team wont win both matches....

Talking bout Ray wilkins....Sometime in the 70s my pals and i , on the way to a match at SB , bumped in to the very young ray wilkins...Like me he had a good head of hair then..Said he was on the train as he didnt have a car at that point...2 years ago i wrote to him about nostalgic times...He wrote back enjoying the memories of those days.....PS we are both as bald as each other.now....

Thought i might add another short story from my chelsea past..Around the mid 80s we played millwall at the Bridge...Ten mins from the end i left to travel back to walthamstow where i then lived....on the way to the stn my neck was slashed by millwall fans...When Ken Bates read about it he sent myself n wife of the time 2 tickets for the old directors box...We played ipswich that day....Met some great old chelsea pensioners...Met some players..Ill just say D>R chatted the wife when i visited the loo...After the match Big Ken shook my hand and after grudgingly allowing a photo to be snapped politely sent me on my way..A good day was had

Sorry cant stick up any pics i have ...All the stuff i have ever accumilated has been put into large plastic boxes for my kids chelsea n sam for them to inherit when im....er...gone to the great shed end in the sky.....It would be too horrendous to sort thru....

Im a new boy so sorry for the late comment to this thread.....Bonetti will always be my fav goalie as he was the player i grew with into my early chelsea years....Also , just a little story bout barota...I was ...er...on holiday for a short period and i wrote to the chelsea players of that time....Peta barota wrote back and sent me a package full of progs n a signed pic of himself.....mad goalkeeper.....nice bloke...

Im glad you have a WE HATE SPUDS thread......Its part of the fabric of being a Blue...I ALWAYS make sure i get into the Bridge v spuds no matter what cost....I like to watch as most sneak up fulham broadway showing no colours....I smile as they come out n think their numbers will frighten us as they sing YID ARMY.... Many a set to with spuds since the late 60s has been enjjoyed by me...Some weve won some weve lost..(but) its worth everything to see how excitment is generated at these occasions.....Long live Chelsea v spuds....Long live the old shedboys..

Hi chelsea guys n gals...Im known as brimstone on (now) this site as well as the unofficial shed end site...Ive been a blue since 1967...I used to be a known "old firm" shed boy, n used to go everywhere late 60s thru to late 80s.. Since then attend maybe half a dozen matches per season now using my pals S/T or by membership tickets...My kids who live 60miles away from me attend matches when i do...Daughter chelsea is 23 n a singer in clacton .My son is sam..Expecting his 3rd chelsea child....We were normally S.O.bar fellows...Now we attend THE fox and against Everton on the 15th oct will also be trying the imperial, as we hear its fun....nice to be here...
