  1. Everton are going for this now. This is the chance to hit them on the break, they've been sitting back and trying to counter us but now they're simply going for it. I know we're down to 10 men, but this could work to out advantage. Well, in my mind anyway
  2. JT is gonna miss the games against West Brom, Fulham and Southend. Back, funnily enough, for Man United.
  3. If I was the manager, I'd take Anelka off, play Drogba up top by himself, and take off Ballack and bring Ivanovic on at centre-back.
  4. To say these officials are pissing me off would be an understatement.
  5. And then the linesman does the same, this time from one yard away.
  6. Phil Dowd shows his quality. 6 yards away from the action, Lampard's shot cannons off Neville's head from right in the centre of the goal and out for a corner, but Dowd gives a goal kick. Did I mention, respect the ref?
  7. Anelka off the post, but he was offside.
  8. Ash with a screamer, good save by Howard.
  9. Come on you Blues! No Drogba makes me concerned.
  10. Team is the same as against West Ham.
  11. I reckon Everton will play this as an away game to be honest, play defensive and try and counter us on the break in the same way that we do. Its going to be a very difficult game.
  12. As much as I love and respect JT, he's in a bit of a slump right now. His leadership qualities are unquestionable, but defensively he has been very suspect in the last few games. Fair enough, he doesn't have Riccy by his side at the minute, but he isn't confident when he's playing now. Whereas he used to have the ability to read where an opponent would go, now he has to pull them back and concede needless free kicks. He's in a bit of slump at the moment, is our JT, although with that being said, no-one's really impressed me greatly in the last few weeks. Everyone could do with a kick up the arse if you ask me. Maybe I'm just over-analysing his performances, and knowing JT he's probably playing with a broken leg However I've got every confidence in his ability, and I highly suspect JT will prove me wrong with a series of solid performances at the back.
  13. I'm sure I posted in this earlier Don't get me started on Benzema, the sub heading to this topic says it all Scored the winner for OL this weekend as well, and at his age, could go and on actually be better than Trezeguet, who is a similar mold of striker.
  14. If we get three points tonight, three points on Boxing Day and then can go to Fulham and record a win, we'll have taken 13 points from a possible 15 this month - a very merry Christmas, I'm sure you'd agree, should we get the results.
  15. I always liked it, a nice stadium aesthetically in my opinion. Shame.
  16. Deserves it if you ask me. Well, no-one deserves that much money, but since I can't do anything about it, all I can say is well done
  17. Ignore what it says for Essien, he's back within 4 weeks if Dr English's prediction is correct.
  18. If we play the side on form, then it looks like we'll be dropping Terry and Deco some time soon, and there's no chance of that. Scolari has his favourites and unfortunately the only player I can see not featuring in the midfield is my player of the season so far; Mikel. With that being said, I hold Essien in the highest of regard, but I feel in terms of a defensive midfielder, Mikel comes up trumps. However, going forward, Essien offers more than Deco and Ballack combined if you ask me.
  19. I think the boys know that if we don't take advantage of Liverpool's shiteness soon, that we won't win the title. Time to become the ruthless winning machine we used to be.
