  1. Excellent performance, absolutely delighted. Everyone looked sharp and there was an aura of confidence about the team. Nice to see
  2. BlueLion.

    Hey!

    Haha, nice shades!
  3. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11668_5446440,00.html Undergoing a medical apparently. No more has been said.
  4. I think it will be very, very tight. I hope we can win, which I am confident we will.
  5. I see your point Badboy, but I've always loved Chelsea more than I have England. I was born in England but my family is partially Irish, so I have a love for both the Republic of Ireland and England - hence the reason I love Chelsea more.
  6. Excellent I'm a big fan of Malouda and think the signing of Zhirkov will bring the best out of both players as they compete for a starting place.
  7. So have I Reckon I'll go to bed at about 3 in the afternoon Luckily I'm a klight sleeper so I'll be up anyways
  8. In light of a recent incident, I have made an addition to the forum's Rules. Click here to be redirected there. The update basically states that posts in English made by foreign fans should be respected as a fantastic attempt at speaking a very difficult and different language, and should therefore be respected by all members on the forum. In addition, a further rule states that if you wish to converse with fellow native speakers, ie. in Russian and Ukrainian like Gleb has done, or in Dutch as Badboy has done in the past, please also post an English translation for the benefit of all members. Cheers, BL.
  9. Completely agree with you Stamford. Its a brilliant attempt at speaking a very difficult and different language. Not only is it a different language, but a different alphabet! But I do agree with you. I don't think we need to sign somebody like Ribery when we already have people like Malouda, Drogba, Anelka, Cole and Zhrikov up front. I really don't think that a marquee signing is necessary as you say. Spot on.
  10. Well to have a player like Beckham come off the bench and put in some excellent set piece deliveries would do nothing but help us.
  11. I SERIOUSLY hope so. He's only 24 isn't he? Would be a major coup; his best days are yet to come.
  12. I'm more than certain both the website and TV channel reported that he had been offered and signed a professional contract with the club, besides.
  13. As Esk says, he had bags of potential but never really consistently showed what he could do at reserves level. Best of luck to him at AZ.
  14. Vucinic. Huntelaar isn't fast enough to cope with the stronger defenders in the league.
  15. Not good news for Ballack at all, or the club. Now we have to rely on Deco
  16. If I had a watch that could stop time, I'd basically have the freedom of the world. I'd go to the Bridge and have a game of crossbar challenge probably
  17. You'll be able to watch it as there will definitely be internet streams of this tournament. I hope we can play as well as we did against them last season, when we beat them 5-0.
  18. Well for me its the same with Zola at West Ham. I found it hard at first, but I've got used to it and respect him even more for his complimentary manner towards Chelsea fans. He always speaks well of this club, and my respect for him has actually doubled since he joined the Hammers. He has retained his humility. Mourinho is much more in-your-face but if he came back to the Prem, I'd still love him as much as I did when he was our coach.
  19. An African Joe Cole would be just as great though. But I know what you mean; Joe is a regular for England and a real fans' favourite. The club wouldn't hear the end of it if they sanctioned a move away from the Bridge for Coley.
  20. I'm fairly certain we'll see 3 or 4 players leave and another one or two come in.
