  1. Did I hear the name Karim Benzema? I'd certainly let Drogba move on. Tonight's sort of performance makes me want to keep Ballack. Deco should be given the same time as every other player has been. Wouldn't be too sad to see Alex leave though. Malouda to Marseille and Ben Arfa to Chelsea is something I'd consider, most definitely.
  2. Joe Cole, that was genius. Kalou, that was fantastic.
  3. I have to say that that was a very good first half performance. Shit goal to concede, but its still an excellent response. Not vintage, but nonetheless excellent.
  4. Can I also say that if it wasn't for Cech, we wouldn't have scored that goal. MAGNIFICENT save.
  5. BRILLIANT goal, absolutely cracking goal.
  6. Also I'd like to point out the time of kick off is 2010 GMT, not 1945.
  7. Team: Cech Bosingwa Alex Terry Ash Mikel Ballack Lampard Kalou Anelka Joey Subs: Di Santo, Carlo, Ivanovic, Riccy, Mancienne, Stoch, Belletti
  8. Yeah, its on an English channel called ITV =]
  9. No, I'll be watching on the television. Just got Chelsea TV on atm http://www.freeetv.com/modules.php?name=Vi...id=2441&d=1
  10. I CAN CONFIRM THE GAME IS ON http://www.southendunited.co.uk/page/NewsD...1519822,00.html According to Mr. Barnett on Chelsea TV, Chris Foy came back out and said the weather had improved magically in the space of 10 minutes.
  11. Chris Foy is reconsidering, apparently. Keep your fingers crossed...
  12. The game has been called off, chaps. According to Neil Barnet, Chris Foy has deemed the pitch is too difficult to see from the back of the stands, although Barnett has visited EVERY corner of the ground and says he can see the entire pitch. Ridiculous.
  13. I saw that the other day I agree with Elliott, who the hell made it
  14. No. If we play a weakened team like we did in the original tie, we risk the chance of going out of the competition altogether. If we underestimate Southend, and don't show the respect we should, we will lose. We have to unite the squad as one, and to do that, we have to play our starting XI at all possible opportunities. Its all great saying we should give the likes of FdS and Michael Mancienne a run-out, but in fairness, we should be looking to play a full-strength team. But that's just my opinion. I just think we need some continuity amongst the ranks atm.
  15. Its obviously a joke article and I found it a humourous read tbh. I agree with the comment about the adidas kits, thats something I'd noticed as well.
  16. The way football goes, I strongly believe that the loss on Sunday might actually change the scenario at the club. Chelsea have been put in their place by Manchester United, and now its time to respond. Knowing football, we'll probably go on some crazy winning streak
  17. Well, according to mass media reports, Drogba has been dropped for the game away at Southend tonight. If that's the case, it's very likely that the club are willing to drop the player and if that is the case, it would appear that they are willing for him to leave either this month or in the summer. It is clear to me the player's heart is not at the club and because of this I think he should go.
  18. TBH, after Old Trafford, I can honestly see us going on some crazy winning run. This is football afterall.
  19. Should play a full-strength side if you ask me.
  20. Agreed. I admit I was out of order calling for his head, but I still feel there is no desire in the squad at the moment.
  21. I tell you what, when the players start giving a shit, I might just sit back and enjoy the game quietly. Until then, the prawn sarnie brigade can fuck off to Manchester while I belt out another chorus of Carefree with the rest of the Shed.
  22. I have to apologise for my reaction after the game on Sunday, I was absolutely devestated and very angry. I still meant what I said, however. I don't think he is the right manager for us, but I accept he is not the only one to blame. I am willing to stick by him till the end of the season simply because it is his first year in European football, but I still have my doubts regarding the man. That being said, I had doubts over Grant as well, and we got through that.
  23. I second that! Zola as manager, di Matteo as assistant, anybody?
