  1. last year's Birmingham scenario would do nicely..
  2. 1.generous in forgiving an insult or injury; free from petty resentfulness or vindictiveness: to be magnanimous toward one's enemies. 2.high-minded; noble: a just and magnanimous ruler. 3.proceeding from or revealing generosity or nobility of mind, character, etc.: a magnanimous gesture of forgiveness. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/magnanimous
  3. We seem to be playing all the teams at the wrong times this season. They'll be full of confidence after their 4-0 win over sunderland today. It is vital for our CL ambitions that we get a win and get some kind of momentum going.
  4. Yes, I would. This is totally unprofessional. Would he like AVB to go and tell the media the truth that Frank has been mostly shit this season and that he probably wouldn't make the starting eleven of any good team in the PL?
  5. No the result fixing was for betting reasons. Juve had a squad back then that could have won the league blindfolded, they didn't need to cheat. Milan were also involved and the team to whom the 2 scodetos went turned out to be just as guilty. Juve were the only ones relegated because they were the best in Italy and everyone wanted them out of their way.
  6. Extremely unprofessional by Frank. I am absolutely shocked! I expected better, especially from him. It is ripping my heart out to see Frank destroying his legendary status by him self.
  7. Hmmm...I'll have to take another look at that.
  8. Do you actually know anything about what happened?
  9. I would've taken the draw before kick-off, but why didn't conti start with the usual 4-3-3? The second half showed we could have dominated them throughout the game.
  10. How so? It was late, but both his feet were on the ground and it was never a harmful challenge. I thought it was a clear yellow card.
  11. It wouldn't be Milan vs Juve without some fights The draw isn't good enough for either sides really. But some really awful refereeing. The Muntari goal, the Matri goal that was wrongly ruled offside, and that sending off at the end. I honestly thought Juve had a decent chance at getting the winner had that not happened. A fairly deserved result in the end, Milan dominated the first half and scored two goals one of which was wrongly ruled out, while Juve dominated the second half and scored two goals one of which was wrongly ruled out.
  12. This has been so poor from Juve, can't put two passes together.
  13. Juve get lucky. That was clearly over the line.
  14. What?? That was going wide if it wasn't for a lucky huge deflection.
  15. ^^ Conti to tactically rape Allegri yet again
  16. Thanks. I had no idea that a player with poor compatibility could reach excellent.
  17. It is ridiculously hard to find a player on the transfer market that is affordable, fits the description I'm looking for and has good compatibility.
  18. Your reports are always great, but they just seem even better after we've won a game.
  19. He was also excellent the first 10 mins of the match. Made a couple of great tackles and really bossed the midfield.
  20. Double figures in 9 consecutive seasons...just wow!
  21. According to eurosport, he's in the starting line-up. Can't tell if behind the striker or on the wing though..
  22. A good team performance and a convincing win in my opinion and no one can convince me otherwise. David Luiz- MOTM for me. Despite a couple of defensive mistakes in the first half, he was crucial for our attacks. I think he benefited greatly from a DM in front of him with the tactical awareness to cover for his forward runs. His long balls were quite brilliant as well. Garry Cahil- I was pleasantly surprised by Garry's performance. He seemed a bit nervous on a couple of balls, but was pure class in two one-on-ones in the first half. Frank Lampard- Great performance for our legend. Was very involved in both attack and defense and could've got more than one goal. I think he's still lacking a bit of sharpness in the final third, but he unquestionably proved that he is definitely a much better option than Raul Meireles. Drogba- Played very well and was vital in the build up of many of our attacks. His little touches and sometimes even his mere presence provides so much to the team. I just hope that Knee injury isn't something to worry about. Essien- Good game. After Having Raul as DM for the last month, it's refreshing to see someone in that role who can actually find a pass with accuracy. He may have lost some strength and technique, but he did not lose his tactical awareness and discipline. Mata- Just wasn't his game really. His passing and movement was a bit off. I think he did not enjoy the physical nature of the game today. Ramires- Much better than his game against Napoli but not quite back to the level he was before injury. A very enjoyable match, all in all. :cfc:
  23. I think keep a player, who hasn't been getting game time, satisfied.
