I remember the last time they met the ref shot them in the foot by sending Rodwell off for a tackle that was not even a foul. I feel like we and Everton will either both win or both lose. So come on Everton!

It is mad what the media the media has got people believing. People are arguing that they are killing thousands in the name of democracy, freedom and other morals. But right no one can overthrow the US domination in the world. Even Iran that is portrayed as the greatest evil in the world have given up on challenging the US even in Iraq and the gulf. The slightest of protest against US needs regional and international backing and funding to survive. Here in Lebanon for example, we have one the biggest pain the ES are facing in the middle east in the form of Hezbollah. Regardless of their ideology and extremist beliefs, they have done a great job at frustrating US and Israeli plans in the region. But even they would not be here, if they were not funded and armed by both Syria and Iran and by extension Russia. No one county or group is able to stand against the US imperialism.

Tbf, they are not the ones taking the decisions especially when it comes to foreign policies, they are just the puppets. Besides, I really don't think that we are anywhere close to a third world war, because first there are no two united fronts; Russia and China, the potential most important opposers of the US domination, have not yet made up their minds 100%. Sure Russia defends it's back yard in the likes of Georgia and Syria, but they are no where ready to challenge the US in Africa or Europe. Secondly, and most importantly, no one at the time can afford a world war. What they are likely to do is let someone else fight their battles. The worst that can happen in the foreseeable future is a full scale war in the eastern coast of the middle east fueled by Iran's and KSA's oil.

After changing the clock, I honestly have no idea what time this is. Anyone can tell me how many hours are left till the match?
-
I know, usually we wait till we loose a couple of matches on the trot or are at least second in the league.

I think that we should not try to stop Van Persie and Rooneybut rather stop the supply to them, namely Scholes. If we can, and trust me we can, overpower their midfield and dominate possession we can win this easily.
-
At least your industries benefit from that. We don't have any industries but change the clock just to look 'western'

He's been very unlucky not to score or assist, hit the bar a couple of times, but he is playing a deep role most of the times, so it is not at all surprising.
-
I can't wait for him own the ginger c*nt tomorrow I honestly think he will be key in this match.

From a boro fan: But I could not find a video for Boro's goal, so I have no idea what he's talking about

Ooh, look what I just found: :D

Weirder than Lamps to manu? We Chelsea fans, more than anybody else, should know that the media will write absolutely anything.

The worst time in the weekend for Chelsea to lose?
CHOULO19 replied to Tomo's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Saturday noon for me too. Just ruins the whole weekend. -
When will City's luck run out?

A home win against Tomo on the first matchday...not a bad start.

Honestly, I fear more about Luis more than Cahill. At their best, I think Luis is the better defender, I really do, but he tends to have matches where his head seems to be elsewhere and he ends up making more mistakes than good decisions. He had a perfect game against Tottenham, but was the worst player on the field against Shakhtar imo. If Luis has a good game, I am confident we will do fairly good at the back.
-
And where does Shak fit in the game on Sunday? I'm just saying that most members would like to discuss tactics and news for the match rather than who's got a couple of centimeters on who.

Forget Carroll, by the above standards we should throw away our current team and buy the Lakers For the last time people stop this silly height discussion. Any further thread derailment will result in warnings.
-
Honestly I can't wait for this. I think a chance to get their hands on some silverware is exactly the motivation our young players need to keep our excellent start of season form.
-
I think the Manu game will tell us who is higher in the pecking order, him or Moses. Only one of them will be on the bench I reckon.
-
I can't believe how silly the level of discussion is in the last few pages This is the Match thread for the Manchester United game not the height thread. Get back on topic people. Di Matteo prematch:

Can we please not turn this into yet another Sturridge vs Torres thread? I can't believe red nose is blaming the refereeing for not winning at the bridge the last 10 visits, especially considering what happened last year with the two non-existent penalties.
