Pastore at Chelsea = Champions League Football
-
Wow 168 pages, I thought we were bad. Hopefully we'll leave you all heartbroken and get that thread locked :eyebrows:
-
LOL PSG boys getting desperate, making an account on chelsea forums. Getting nervous??
-
Is Abramovich sleeping?
-
If they offered the amount purported its slightly understandeble, but it would be a big setback. Pastore would have made a big, big mistake.

http://www.mcfc.co.u...guero-exclusive heres his interview Sadly, but inevitably confirmed. -
I hope this is just the media crap, damn this would be a hugely, and humiliating, setback.
-
Don't know weather I'm getting to ahead of myself too
-
LOL love the fact the fact that your from Turkey, but I don't blame you after the corruption scandal in the TFF and Superliga.

Really getting excited now. If anyone wants to know how he plays the most apt description would be the "Kaka of Milan". Never seen a player so successful in back-heeling through balls, he could really help all of our strikers let alone Torres. We would yield some brilliant midfielders for the future and present: Mceachran, Piazon, Romeu, Ramires, Pastore and Essien Let's just all wait and hope for an official confirmation Oh and hope that Zamparini and Pastore haven't chosen PSG
-
"Players like Pastore, Alexis Sanchez, Ganso and Eden Hazard are all important and everybody wants them, but when you want players like these, it is always hard. I have a great relationship with Palermo president Zamparini. There is no logic in the transfer market, but we must take things step by step. At the moment we are looking at what exists, but you have to know whether players like these believe in our project. Plus, even if you sign people like Pele or Maradona, it does not always mean you will win." : Learnado, PSG's new director (former Inter, AC manager) has quoted saying to yahoo sport France. Looking good :eyebrows:

Most encouraging performance so far, with Luiz, Ramires and Alex to return it can only get better.

Torres hits the post, unlucky.

Not necessarily, we just need to find a balance. Let's hope Boas can do that. -

They don't all have to start immedietley but at least get given the chance, I'm not asking for Boas to go all Arsenal on us and just play talents. Kakuta is fast, skillful and let's face it can give us a dimension that Malouda just hasn't for a while. If we can't get a winger this year, or even if we can, why shouldn't we give him a chance. I'm not talking a petty Mark Hughes chance but a proper one where he can hopefully step up and prove himself. If Modric and Pastore don't join we can't just play the same game as last year, yes we have a different tactician but the base is the same so I'm hoping we can test and try Piazon and Romeu on occasions. -

Though we looked to have missed out on Aguero next season can still be great if we play our youngsters. Cech/ Turnball Ivanovic (27) - Terry (30) - Luiz (24) - Cole (30)/Van Aanholt (20) / Bertrand (21) Oriol Romeu (19)/Ramires(24) Mceachran (18) - Pastore (22)/ Piazon (17) /Lampard (33) Sturridge (21) - Torres(27) /Drogba (33) - Kakuta (20) As well as Benayoun (31), Anelka (32), Bosingwa (28), Kalou (25), Malouda (31) Alex (29), Chalobah (17) Courtois(19 loan) We have seriously missed out on a gem, but let's hope our squad and youths can step up an fulfill their potential. Lukaku is still available but apart from that I can't think of another striker available that was as good/better than Aguero. Neymar is off the market and radar for another year at least too, mabye we can still bargain for De Bruyne though. If Kakuta was at another club playing day in day out we would've been begging for Abramovich too snap him up too. He should really be given more chances. When we get Piazon in January we should give him a few shots, and if our players perform to their maximum or close too it we will have a squad to compete for everything even without Aguero. Still... seeing him play in any shirt apart from the Chelsea one makes me fume. -

If we do lose him to City I will always mantain that it's due to the fact that we didn't move for him (this window at least), I've showed it before but Aguero did once say (last year I think): 'Chelsea are a great club. They have become one of the most feared in Europe over recent years.' 'I look at players like Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard and they have been - and still are - the best players in their positions in the world. I could really learn from players like that, there is no doubt. 'London would be a really amazing city to live in as well, myself and my wife could be really happy there. Carlos Tevez is doing really well at Manchester City but, for me, it is about joining a club who are ready to challenge for honours. City are not ready yet.' City may now arguably be ready, but from this you can really tell that he would have always preferred Chelsea to City. Mabye talks will collapse like with Juve , or better yet we could do a "Robinho hijacking" to City who maybe did us a favour. EDIT: 'Just landed in Manchester to finalize the details of the offer with the City. Everything is fine! In a while I'll tell you more.' Aguero said this on Twitter 32 mins ago -

Steps forward Kalou *jokes* He has shown potential as a cameraman latley though. And there must me some other connotations to that rule surely, don't remember selling for every non HG player we've brought over 21. -

It was locked, most probably due to the fact that a deal was purportedly imminent. Hopefully this unlocking is signaling a change in that though. Today VIllas-Boas said: "We have plenty of availability in terms of forwards who can play in different positions - with Anelka, with Kalou, Didier, Torres and Sturridge. "This is the reality at the moment of our squad. We need to find the correct balance and this is why pre-season is important. "On that decision, to bring in another forward, at the moment I don't think we will." I think that was in answer to a question on Lukaku, possibly a double-bluff for his price-tag to be lowered I don't know. But he is right, unless we sell one (mabye Kalou or Anelka, or both) or even loan one out it's frustratingly unlikely that Boas is bluffing. I know we do have a lot of strikers but both Drogba and Anelka are in their 30s and Kalou is... well Kalou (Not that he hasn't improved). Quite frankly an Aguero doesn't become available everyday and of all our targets, bar Modric, he would (imo) fit in very easily. I don't want to lose him to City, only to see them avail a Balotelli, Aguero and Silva front-line to terrorize us in the future. Besides what if Tevez does stay, or even leave for that matter. Man City certainly have a lot of forwards, and their not on the wrong side of their footballing age, unlike 2 of ours. Despite Aguero reportedly saying he would like a move to City if a bid is formally placed, I still maintain that if we come knocking their is no doubt in my mind that we would take full precedent. But it all hinges on if we make a move. -
Now let's replace Pedro for Alexis Sanchez and look at the Barca team

haha I completley agree, rather save it all until the last day than splash that type of cash on players like Henderson and Downing. But I do think we will make a move, half of these reports about Man City bidding for Aguero have all said that it hinges on Tevez and Corinthians have since withdrawn from negotiations. It's only a matter of time until we are legitimately linked with Aguero again, as Villas Boas said, our 'proper buisness' will begin after the Asian tour. Hopefully by then it's not too late.:tophat: -

"At the moment I am waiting because if we lose Carlos, Aguero is a player that can play for Manchester City because he is young, because he is a good player like Carlos, he can score a lot of goals and can play with Mario [balotelli], with Edin [Dzeko]," Mancini told Sky Sports News. (he also said something about Nasri) That strike force could be deadly, we must do whatever we can to get Aguero. Frustrating that we haven't had any links with the player recently, from credible sources at least. I still mantain that if we come knocking we would be his preferred club. Especially since we have been after him before and he has overtly complemented us unlike City, he knows Torres, and even Tevez, and the constant advantage of living in London -
For those of you unaware of the three players names they are: Wallace, Ronan & Pernao Ronan talked to the Brazilian media and said: “ In the Deco coming to Fluminense, they needed three players who were based in Juniors They sent a scout to watch the championships and choose three players – myself and two (Wallace and Pernão). Deco at the coming of the club sold 50% of my passes (economic rights) to the English club “
