  1. I remember some Arsene Wenger interview, where Brek Shea also went to have some training sessions with the squad but Wenger denied that their was any contract or trial in place.
  2. My team didn’t get angry because I was booked — but they saw my physique and got jealous!”
  3. For 2012, if Italy win the Euros, then Pirlo deserves it. Even if they don't win it his unmatchable contribution in Juve's unbeaten season and his performances in the Euros certainly merit genuine contention. 1)Pirlo 2)Ronaldo 3)Messi Not expecting it though because it often boils down to other trifling things.
  4. Retweeted by Courtios: Inevitable, but good move. Wonder if he's going to be allowed to play against us in the Super Cup.
  5. Good to know, Jese was one of the extras in your UCL squad that's why I was shocked he had the 1 app. Wasn't Sarabia also sold to Getafe for like a million but with a buy back clause? On defenders I would also like to see Varane play more and I'm certain he will. He was a really good buy and has a very, very bright future.
  6. On regards to strikers what happened to Morata and Joselu? On the latter I heard some rumors about Arsenal and West Ham. West Ham are going for some crazy players in Castaignos, Elia and maybe even Joselu! I refuse to believe that Allardyce is the brains behind those moves You'll also have Canales as a midfielding option when he returns in 2013, not to mention a certain Zidane + many others who are being developed. I wonder how many of these youngsters will make it? They have the talent but with the consistently world-class names making up the Madrid squad the chances always seem slim.
  7. Why Ashley Cole's extra shooting practice didn't pay off
  8. Happy Birthday Messi! Only 25 and still writing his legacy.
  9. A few great videos. In the first video the fans are English and passionately supporting Bayern... Chelsea fan vs a bus of Bayern fans.
  10. Forever Blue! Shanghai Shenhua finished signing with Didier Drogba and he will join the team after June 30, 2012 when his contract with current club expires. (He's still ours at the moment)
  11. http://www.telegraph...ai-Shenhua.html Well which is it Telegraph?...Anyway I was hoping he would be earning 250,000k+ bearing in mind the wages players like Beckham and Eto 'earn'. Nevertheless Good Luck to the legend Didier Drogba the greatest big game player ever.
  12. Just a quick thing. He changed his club from Lille to Chelsea the other day.
  13. Translates too: Salomon Kalou, out of contract with Chelsea, he is engaging with Lille. Good news for LOSC, right? What kind of facade has Kalou created in France :eyebrows:
  14. I'm in two minds, theirs no doubt he's top draw and IMO he should get into our first team. Nonetheless in our formation we have two midfielders that would occupy our midfield - on one side Ramires/Mikel or Romeu and on it's parallel is Lampard. Should we spend 30 million+ to get Modric or instead introduce McEachran. He has the talent. Modric is 26 so when Lampard leaves after the next season or maybe the one after he will still have his place. Maybe Josh and Luka can play together in the future but I can't see that with the shape of our team . With Hazard, Torres, Mata and potentially Hulk the holding midfielders role is even more important too. Arsenal have had success with Wishere and I have no doubt that Josh can yield the same results. He needs to bulk up a bit so maybe a loan is a possibility, but we've seen that you don't need to be huge to boss a midfield. People can say he is not ready but the question then arises about when he will be. If he buy Modric we won't be given a legitimate opportunity. Buying Modric at Josh's expense doesn't sit favorably with me, I can't see Lampard acquiescing to another player dethroning him too. Di Matteo seems to have a good rapport with everyone so maybe he can convince Lampard about his role next season and provide Josh with more opportunities. As exciting as Modric would be, we know Lampard realistically won't retire. If he would, then the signing would make more sense. The key is basically Lampard's role next season, we all know about his thoughts on being benched but the magic word of 'transition' arises again. Fact is that Modric is a better player than Lampard today and despite his recent rejuvenation so to say, a team next season with Modric in the midfield over Lampard would really give our team another boost in our pursuit for success. I'd be more for it if Lampard retires, the prospect is quite tantalising for the team of 'today'. McEachran is 19 so maybe a loan is still an option but like Barca we need to introduce our youngsters otherwise it'll be the same old story for Chelsea.
  15. There's plenty unfortunately. A few that spring to mind are Denilson (The Betis one) ,Adriano and who can forget:
  16. Lol the expression when he talk's of Redknapp being sacked.
  17. BTW mate I didn't cancel mine and it came on Monday.
  18. I feel this is a kind of relevant to the thread: 9 times out of 10 when this guy speaks its just childish nonsense.
  19. Seen a few forums with this, but anyways you can vent dissaproval over purported transfer targets here.
  20. He is a very promising talent, his ball control is excellent, as is his passing. His shooting could improve but he isn't too shabby either (He's very similar to Xavi and Fabregas), I also think he was one of the scorers in the UCL game against Bate. He's rated pretty highly by Barca fans and I'm sure they wouldn't want him to go.
  21. A couple sources claiming Chelsea are after Roberto again. http://www.talksport...ung-star-173924 http://www.dailymail...o=feeds-newsxml
  22. DiCaprio deserves his oscar, hope he gets it in this. Looking forward to this a lot! EDIT: Full trailer out:
