Jesus christ are you for real? Why would he drop Cole in important games when Cole still proves that he is amongst the best LBs in the world? Why would he drop Ivanovic for AZPI (cant even believe u mentioned him) when Iva has been MASSIVE for us? both defensive and offensive? As for Romeu, there is clearly something going on there. Maybe he isnt 100% to stay in Chelsea. ANd you actually compare this with the Torres situation when Torres has been practically shit? If Danny performed like Torres you and alot more would bash him so harshly and throw comments like "where are all sturridge lovers now", "what did we say" etc...

The thing is, he used to be. And if you do not agree on the fact that Danny has been hindered from playing more and as CF is because CHelsea are stubborn on playing Torres, you obviousley cant read into things. And im not just talking about this game.

You sir know nothing. He hasnt got the experience because he hasnt been given the chance. He is hindered by Torres and his pricetag. Sturridge isnt suited more at RW, hes good there but he is better as CF. He would prolly even do well in a striker partnership at the right side.

Semi-cheap in Chelsea standard is like 25-30m. And with those kind of money that list isnt interesting.

I can also see Torres scoring, if he stands 2 yards away from the goalline and gets a ball from Mata. Nah seriousley, there is no reason what so ever to say "I can see Torres scoring against man u". It would be awesome for Chelsea but id still want us to sell him in january.. Id rather want us to start Danny and bring torres on in the 75th or so

Not that Shaktar is a bad team or anything like that, but I expected something like 2,20. I went with Chelsea, Bayern and man u and it gave 6,50 i think.

Chelsea have REALLY good betting odds on this game, unibet gives just above 3x on Chelsea, they're giving Shaktar the advantage. Just a tip

I was expecting an answer like that. But fact remains, Balotelli doesnt have a good attitude, and still it got him to where he is. Zlatan is another example, just not as extreme. I just reacted to what you said about not having the "right" attitude wont get u anywhere. Its just not true.

That's exacly my point: He's playing because we have no-one else. However, we've always had Danny and he hasnt been given a chance because of Torres. And not because Torres deserves the spot more than Danny does, or that he's so good that Danny cant compete with him, but becasue his name is Torres and we bought him for 50m.

I think you are missing one really big point in this, and that is last season we had Drogba! Dont u think that Torres would get benched now if we still had Drogba? Long ago mate!

I know this is a Chelsea forum and we are all very passionate fans and all, but what have you been smoking?

I couldnt care less if Torres scores 20 goals in one game against Leicster or against some other team in a cup game and dont deliver consistantly in the EPL/CL. Ivanovic has been a more important scorer for us for the love of God. My point is, Torres hasnt really done anything that earns him the starting spot ahead of Danny.

What position is he playing and what formation do they use? I still wonder if this guy would feel most natural and be at his best in the double pivot paired with Mikel or Ramires? Or does he have to play higher up the pitch?

Injured, comes in as sub and scores like a baws! Seriousley though, if Danny would leave without even be given a serious chance as CF it would be a HUGE mistake and it would really piss me off alot. What pisses me off is that the reason he hasnt already is because we paid an insane ammount for a CF, that now isnt delivering but keeps starting because people either have a false hope he will turn into his old self or that they are just stubborn and play him because he costs so much.

He's not a natural leader though, no disrespect to the guy (i love him) but he isnt suited for captain at all. Out of the players we've currently got id say (depending on how soon terry/lamps will retire): Luiz (if he matures abit more he would be the perfect captain).

Regarding Bale, Ramires will be able to cope with him. If everyone's fit, this would be my choice any day of the week for this game: Cech Iva - Luiz - Terry - Cole Ramires - Mikel Mata - Oscar - Hazard Torres I honestly cant see spurs beat us.
