Good movement, very lively, forced the keeper into making 2 saves, nice flick back across goal (like he did for Ivanovic goal against Villa) but the Spanish player - don't remember who - hit the bar. Wouldn't surprise me to see him start against Italy.

I have no doubt in my mind we would have finished 4th if not for the fact we were still in the CL. If we had been knocked out earlier, then we would've focused more on the league, and wouldn't rest players against Arsenal, Newcastle and Liverpool - which resulted in us picking up just 1 point from those 3 games.

That's 60-80k a week that could be better used elsewhere. And also a spot for a non homegrown player.
