De Laurentiis: "Should we receive an offer of €63m, then fine. If this offer doesn't arrive then Cavani will stay in Italy with us" End of debate.
-
Was there a report that the report about the agreed fee 2 nights ago would become clearer after Napoli signed Cavani replacement? Or that until the replacement was signed there'd be no announcement? Callejon has joined them , Real Madrid striker
-
ADL has just said Cavani wont leave for less than 63m euros. Why would he suddenly take Dzeko deal. Bullshit. Sure he said Man city have told him they cant afford the fee. Had SSN on yesterday, guy james cooper said he has been told in no uncertain terms Cavani to Man City is not happening, a story then also confirmed by a bbc guy
-
yeh the headline was so misleading. i couldnt fuckin hear anythin remotely close to "chelsea pull out" when i listened
-
i listened to that, all i got from it was that he doesnt think we will pay the buyout.
-
How the fuck has he treated Chelsea like shit ? Any player in world football you ask about Madrid would say they dream to play for them, except Barca homegrown players. The other day he said he could not turn chelsea down.
-
Then again, his agent could mean Chelsea and Cavani havent closed anything yet
-
Any denials or confirmations will come tomorrow probably
-
http://www.tuttonapoli.net/?action=read&idnotizia=153962 they (radio marte) are apparently napoli's radio station
-
Why sign Benteke when you have Lukaku?
-
apparently Gazetta saying Marina Granovskaia to meet ADL between monday and wednesday (isnt that tuesday?..) with offer for cavani
-
This new Adidas deal worth £300m will now more than likely see us more willing to activate this clause. I would not be shocked to see our spending this summer be higher than first planned now this deal is signed. What i did notice from ADL when asked about chelsea was "marina marina marina" he said. = Marina Granovskaia. My guess? She is the one who will be doing the talking on our part for this deal. Unless we walk away
-
There is another report somewhere saying he has 3 options. Madrid, Chelsea or renewal at Napoli. This ties in kind of with what the italian media been saying about us almost having it signed, 58m euros. Bar the spain bit
-
middle one bullshit. Top and bottom believable.
-
To be perfectly honest. I don't doubt the meeting, far too many individual sources reporting it, with quotes. And without quoting other sources in their articles. I do however, now i think about it, think the meeting was not today. Because reading many of them articles back, a fair few say "wednesday or thursday" or "thursday we will have news." Don't think there is anything new in Italy today, usually late at night they start popping up isnt it?
-
ok, so why has corriere dello sport, and gazetta dello sport from italy, not reported this meeting with cavani and napoli, without rehashing that auriemma italian guy. Considering these are the 2 biggest papers in italy, or most highly regarded. If EVERY story hits a website, surely they'd have it? (and i mean their own version not rehashed as mentioned). Same with L'Equipe, they have a paper version and an online version, some stuff in the paper doesnt go online until much much much later, or next day, and vice versa.
-
not every story goes onto a website. Bild paper....
-
Report i seen, said Mendes, ADL and cavani agent are at this supposed meeting. Wouldnt surprise me if Mourinho has thrown mendes a sweetener to sort the deal out ASAP before madrid stick their oar in,
-
The agent said himself on a talkshow in italy, that stuff about the meeting "let us do our job" while he was on the phone talking to them
-
I wouldnt take his fathers quotes at face value. Cavani himself said he doesnt know if Spain would suit him, and working under Jose would be a dream. However, I think Madrid are the only ones who will match the fee unfortunately
-
Hence the decision to abandon Belfodil and put everything on Pharaoh. ADL actually tweeted earlier that he got offered priority on him by Parma but will now be looking elsewhere
-
Mediaset claiming we are now willing to pay 63m euros EDIT: Beaten to it.
-
The meeting was reported by Mediaset in Italy
-
Need to factor in Rafa to all this. He would gladly take Torres, id bet my house on it
-
One paper said ADL rates Torres at 20m euro., if this is rejected, walk away. Agreed. IF they turn this down, any club will literally have to pay the entire fee, 63m euro
