  1. di marzio, romano and our journos looking a bit silly now.
  2. Not very encouraging words from Monchi just now. http://romapress.us/2018/01/24/monchi-trying-improve-team/ not sure in what context he is talking... whether he is talking about our bid for Dzeko (which dimarzio and everyone else says is agreed) or whether he is on about Dzeko's personal terms offer from us
  3. I am surprised we'd let him play tonight, if he does his ligaments or something, back to the drawing board we go. I read yesterday that supposedly 2 options were drawn up with his agent. £110k/week and he signs until 2019 or 2020 with option of extra year. Or £84k/week but he signs until 2021
  4. To be fair, with Dzeko's deal you are better off listening to the Italian press over ours. They were the first to break the news we wanted both and seem to have a lot more detail than our media. And, they always report stuff way before ours, who then copy and paste practically. For what it's worth, they convinced it is done.
  5. I am surprised either us or Roma are letting him play tomorrow. If i was chelsea i'd agree the deal sharpish and have Dzeko left out of the team
  6. Updates tomorrow I would guess.
  7. That'd maybe make sense... Conte won't shed any light on this in his presser, so i hope we get some firm news by tonight. Just to stop the conflicting stories. All the big Italian sports outlets have the deal as done, 2021 4.5m a yr. Our media, banging on about the over 30 issue
  8. "with Roma desperate to keep hold of their star striker" totally wrong that, isnt it? Seeing as every single Italian media say Roma are quite happy to sell him The cynic in me thinks that is him helping someone else with their luggage, rather than his own
  9. the ones claiming it is done are Italian media, even some Rome based i think. Hard to decide what to follow. Come on di marzio give us some news
  10. quite a good deal i agree with Dzeko. Admittedly i was genuinely coming round to the idea of Carroll slowly on a loan deal.. the rest though no chance
  11. they sold him far too early, and for 11m euros. Idiotic move
  12. if we sign the Dzeko who played at the Bridge in CL, Morata is on the bench. Even at City Dzeko was good, IMO they shouldnt have sold him. I'd love us to play both though, 2 uptop
  13. Well, depends. Simon Johnson in the Standard never really 'breaks' news, per se. He tends to publish articles on news we already know about from other sources. I personally wouldn't take Simon's articles as reliable... i'd still wait for a better source
  14. missed the game, any signs of a farewell from Dzeko?
  15. after tonights game v Inter we should have a better idea of where the Dzeko deal is heading.l Barnes can do one tbh, not having that.
  16. So what do we think? tomorrow definitely his last game for Roma?
  17. Story i read just now that when Roma were boarding the train to Milan for tomorrow's game, Totti said to Dzeko "Does this train go to London?" and Dzeko smiled and replied "Not yet" Lot of the italian articles you read seem to think that after tomorrows game v Inter, theyll likely join
  18. She doesnt look as fit by there. In the picture with Barkley she looks ravishing
  19. good news from dimarzio we hope! Dzeko said yes
  20. http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-chelsea-crouch-coates-1089622
  21. another thing, normally with Stoke news rob Dorsett from Sky is pretty decent and The Stoke Sentinel would be all over it... absolutely zilch. Makes me confident its BS
  22. If this guy can defend with a good standard and get forward and be dangerous with his ability and deliveries, Alonso will be in for a real challenge. I like Alonso, going forward he is very good, little suspect defensively and I always think he lacks a yard of pace. Set pieces though, thumbs up
  23. He wants to stay, of course he does. Why come out now and say he wants to leave when a deal isn't even agreed? it burns all bridges with the club. Just see how it pans out, id take him here, he is a good finisher. Does seem a tad unlikely thought thinking about it
  24. Has to be a joke. Lazy journalism, please, please, please I dont care whether he supported the club as a boy, hes 37 and fucking shite
  25. You watch us still bid for Carroll. Hairline fracture isnt that bad, in the grand scheme of things. And, they say tonight he will be out roughly a month. Hasnt he missed West Ham's last 2 games with a knock to his ankle? He is already in that 'month' of recovery IMO. The fracture has probably been found today or whatever, but has been there about 2 weeks minimum already
