  1. ours and Real madrid's are the only board I know who seem incapable of learning from its past mistake and consistently display lack of common sense and critical reasoning in its decision making.
  2. fixed It's sad isn't it? Thank God I have got brains and eyes and can make my own judgement. some people may never know what that feels like. Even if Ferguson (who I rate as the greatest manager of all time) tells me Oscar is a better player than mata, I had laugh in his face.
  3. From a liverpool fan on redcafe BarneyLFCwrote: Oh Chelsea. Your stupidity never ceases to amaze me. We are a laughing stock.
  4. Telegraph are reporting it too and they are more reputable than skysports
  5. The next press conference will be interesting. that's for sure
  6. You mean the version of mata that has had his confidence completely shot and out of form thanks to Mourinho? despite that still created more goal scoring chances than oscar despite playing significantly fewer games and minutes?
  7. You will find an overwhelming majority of football lovers around the world would agree with that sentiment. (I was just being sarcastic with my original comment btw)
  8. So are you two saying Oscar "the new zico" emboaba isn't a better playmaker than mata? I have been lied to again.
  9. I see. the plan all along was to have all the variations of messi in the same team. all we need now to complete the mission is this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fj_lMKAkU2Y
  10. Is that rhetorical? Benfica that we initially sold matic to wear red as well.
  11. I'm struggling to contain my excitement. you forgot Marko "the german messi" marin . our rivals are quivering with fear at the thought alone.
  12. I always knew Ron gourlay was a dirty fucker
  13. You forgot to add Liverpool's knowledge and recognition of Torres gradual deterioration as a result of his abysmal injury record and how rafa played in to the ground (high mileage). they recognized the only way for him was downward not upwards and could predict the decline which he was already showing signs of anyway at Liverpool. I bet they were pissing themselves laughing at our ignorance and idiocy but then again they wasted the Torres money on junks like Carroll and Downing so it's more a case of dumb and dumber.
  14. So countinho and mata are equals now? I don't blame you, I blame jose
  15. if? more like when. 1)mata is one of the finest no 10's in the world 2) He will have fire in his belly and be desperate to prove his doubters and haters wrong badly 3)It's a world cup year 4) Utd have better strikers that will bring out the best in mata as a playmaker 5) The fact that he will likely be a regular starter (no one pays £40m for a benchwarmer) means he will have enough games and minute to regain his full confidence and form and I wouldn't want to face a confident and fully in form mata.
  16. If he goes on to have "Van Persie like" impact at United (which is within his capability) that's when you will see the real meltdown.
  17. BTW I'm not conceding that we are better off without mata than with him in the team and that Oscar is superior. that will never happen and I have made my views on that clear enough. however, I'm looking at it from a financial standpoint and also from the pov that players of mata's quality should be playing regular footie and since he won't get that here, it's makes sense for both parties to part ways
  18. That's because the chelsea tv crew already count mata has a former blue
  19. TBF it's easy to see where cholou is coming from. Mata is too good to sit on the bench and he will likely never regain his status as a regular starter under jose. There's no point keeping a "40 million bench warmer" (hurts badly to say/type that) on the books.
  20. I will be disappointed if gilvorak bites and dignifies that idiot with a response.
  21. Was just skimming through the mata thread from last season and the amount of turnaround and contradictions from then to now is staggering. I wouldn't expose and embarrass anyone because that's not who I am but some people can do with some consistency.
  22. The signs were on the wall some of us just didn't pay enough attention or didn't want to believe it first sign was the treatment of sahin, another technically excellent DLP, cut from the same cloth as mata, who "didn't fit the jose system" (This fiasco has made me hate the word "system" so much) and ostracized as a result coupled with the mata Rooney swap rumours in the summer. Mata was never in Jose's plans to begin with.
  23. Apparently not. not on this forum anyway. ironically though, you can show deep admiration and support for Mourinho and other squad players without been stigmatized. just not mata or anyone/anything that gives off the impression of undermining Jose.
