He gave us the stability that we were cryibg out for and he choked off any momentum from the galatasaray game. Considering the situation and the circumstances in whuch mikel was subbed in, I would say, this was the exact thing he would have been vrought in for. Hence, a GOOD performanxr. Job well done!!!!

Well I don't remember a single good pass/interception from him in the last 15. Infact I remember mikel playibg a good ball into him behind the gala players but lanps lost the ball to melo ehich could have been a eonderful situation for us. Plus if his standard of passing is coming as low as comparision to rambo, then he defo needs to leave.

He was better than rambo defensively??? I think he stopped running for the last 15 minutea. A couple of times we had a chanc to counter in the second half but lamps simply held on to the ball too long and we lost all momentum. He was poor. Ramires might be irritating while going forward but he does his job dedensively. Lamps on the other hand seems to be out or the gane for periods of time. Plus I think we have mvg/rambo who can complement matic very well. As I said, ahigh pressing, high energy mid. Not something that u can expect from a 36 year old.

Simply can't see him being with us next season. I had said this before about contract extensions that JT was a must, cole was a no-no while lamps depended on his performances. Unfortunately, he has been poor. He might still be good in a 3 man mid but for our high pressing, hugh energy 4-2-3-1, he simply is not the guy. Stikl a true legend though.

Good game. Helped run the clock down plus we needed an extra pair of lega in the mid.

First thing first. Poor second half, good first half. Same old story where we dominate heavily for a spell but simply can't put the match tp bed and literally show the opposition a way back. In thw second half he saw that we were getting over-run by gala in mid and put in mikel to brilliant effect. Cech- has to take his share of blame for the goal. It was barwly 3/4 yards off the goal line and aimply can't understand why he dint come for the ball. Poor dexision but a couple of good saves. 6/10 Azpi-Motm. Without a doubt. The only player who seemes to have turned up foe the 2nd half. Brilliant interceptions and the run foe the goal was just awesome. 10/10 JT- why dint he stay with his man??? Why? In mid, rambo would be certain to start, hopefully along with mikel as DM while luiz along with rambo and the front 3 can press the gala players high up the pitch.

We were no way as dire as united. Specially considetong the fact that we had a dreadul 2010-11 while the samr squad which was hardly any better than the previous season.
