Hmm I know it's Goal.com but still thought I'd share it.. at least he isn't going to Real for now! Chelsea & Real Madrid target Neymar: I intend to honour my Santos contract The 19-year-old forward echoes statements made by his agent by declaring that he will remain with the Brazilian side despite reported interest from a number of European suitors Santos striker Neymar has stated that he will honour his current club contract, which runs until 2015, amid transfer interest from a number of European sides. In an up and down transfer saga, the Brazilian club initially stated that five clubs have met the €45 (£40.7m) million release fee in his contract, only to then claim that his transfer is non-negotiable and that they will do all in their power to keep the 19-year-old at the Vila Belmiro. Yesterday agent Wagner Ribiero stated that the Selecao attacker wanted to feature in the Club World Cup for his current employers, and the player has made similar claims today despite reported interest from giants such as Real Madrid and Chelsea. "I have a contract that I intend to honour," he said in an interview on "Corujao do esporte", a television programme set to be aired on Globo TV. When asked about the tournament, which takes place in Japan in December, the Brazil international with five caps to his name looked forward to taking on Pep Guardiola's European champions Barcelona with Santos. "We will have the semi-finals before a likely match against Barcelona. It will be a dangerous game and we must focus our efforts on that game. "They are very good, with [Lionel] Messi, Dani Alves. The guys are aliens, the best in the world and it will be an honour to meet them," he stated. Neymar also expressed his admiration for Argentina's key attacker, and called him the best player in the world. "Messi is the best and there is no way to dispute that. He is at the top. The second and third best [in the world] are far behind him. I will work hard to be like him, " he concluded. Neymar is currently on international duty at the Copa America, and is set to make his competition debut when Brazil take on Venezuela on Sunday.

Neymar 'chooses Real Madrid' Neymar is said to have chosen to join Real Madrid ahead of Chelsea and Barcelona but Santos president Luis Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro remains hopeful of retaining the player until at least 2012. Ribeiro revealed this week that five clubs - said to be Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City and Anzhi Makhachkala - had agreed to meet Neymar's €45 million release clause but said he was confident Neymar would stay on. Ribeiro has now suggested that Inter Milan may be among the clubs showing an interest in Neymar, but it appears the player has decided on a move to the Bernabeu. Marca claims the 19-year-old has told Brazil team-mate Dani Alves at the Copa America: "I don't know anything about Barcelona. I will play for Madrid next season." Ribeiro, though, still believes Neymar will stay put until the conclusion of December's Club World Cup tournament in Japan and told RAC1: "Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan - all the big clubs are interested in Neymar because he is an exceptional player, but my intention is that he will stay with us at least until we meet Barcelona in the final. "We don't want to lose him until the centenary [santos were founded in April 1912] but it all depends on him, on what he wants to do. Remember that there is a release clause in his contract." He added: "It's obvious given all the interest that the release clause is small in comparison to the player's true value." Ribiero confirmed he has held conversations with both Barca president Sandro Rosell and Madrid counterpart Florentino Perez. "I asked Sandro not to make contact with Neymar or his father before the Copa Libertadores final, but then I had to tell him to make his move because the other European clubs were already moving," he said. "Sandro is a gentleman, very friendly, a great professional and a great president. "I spoke to Florentino directly and Real Madrid expressed an interest in the player. That's public." Santos coach Muricy Ramalho had earlier said that Neymar would be making a mistake if he were to play under Jose Mourinho. "He's a top star, a player who can improvise," Ramalho said. "You never know what he's going to do - he's unpredictable. Mourinho, though, is very tactics-based - focusing on not letting opponents play and closing the space. I have doubts about how well it would work out with Real Madrid." He added: "Imagine Messi and Neymar together..."

Hmm....better news! Santos coach warns Neymar over Real Madrid move: Look what happened to Kaka! Santos coach Mauricy Ramalho has questioned whether Real Madrid would be the best move for Neymar. Neymar is a top target for Real and Chelsea. "I have a bit of fear for Neymar in Madrid and that the same thing happens to him that happened to Kaka," he said. "Madrid is very different from Santos. I do not know if he will be free on the field, because Jose Mourinho likes much tactical work, he does not leave you to play. "I have a little doubt that relationship for Neymar at Madrid." More of the same please!

ANDRE VILLAS-BOAS will make an immediate impact at Chelsea by hijacking Manchester City's deal for Alexis Sanchez. Sources in Italy claim the new Stamford Bridge chief has spoken to Udinese star Sanchez personally and told the Chile forward he wants to make him the Blues' £36million highest-profile summer signing. And Villas-Boas has already axed three backroom staff, just five days after taking charge. First-team coach Paul Clement, club doctor Bryan English and fitness coach Glen Driscoll have all been put on gardening leave while compensation packages are agreed. But it is the prospect of luring Sanchez, 22, to London which will excite Chelsea fans. Sanchez is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge after his dream switch to Barcelona broke down. The Spaniards had offered £32m but City upped the ante with a £40m offer. Udinese are determined to sell to the highest bidder but Sanchez does not fancy Eastlands and Chelsea hope a £36m offer will be an acceptable compromise. A source said: "Sanchez feels backed into a corner by City and Udinese purely because of money. "He thought a deal to Barcelona was done until City moved in. But he doesn't feel City have the same pedigree as Chelsea and he is excited about working with Villas-Boas." The new manager paid a flying visit to Chelsea's Cobham training ground on Friday for a meeting with chief executive Ron Gourlay. And Clement, English and Driscoll were promptly told they would play no part in Chelsea's future." Ramos attracting interest Tentative approaches have been made for Sergio Ramos, with reports suggesting he is willing to leave Real Madrid. Speculation in Spain claims the versatile defender is furious with his current employers after they backtracked on contract promises. Ramos believes he was entitled to a bumper pay rise this summer, but has seen fresh terms fail to materialise. He is now prepared to consider offers from elsewhere, with numerous clubs willing to dig deep in an effort to secure his signature. Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester City have been linked with big-money moves, with both clubs expected to splash the cash during the transfer window. Ramos' brother and agent Rene Ramos has revealed that interested clubs have already been in touch with Real and has refused to rule out an imminent exit from Santiago Bernabeu. "Sergio merits better treatment at Real because of the work he has done and his quality," he said in The People. "It is normal that his talent has been recognised by foreign clubs. "We have received calls and inquiries but it is in the hands of Real." Hmmm.. he is only 25.. and we do need a right back..
-
Haha indeed.. but .. the thing is .. that if we don't do the deal before the 1st of July.. his clause increases from 10 million to .. 30 million!
-
No we can just pay 10 million..which is his clause!

Strange cause I just heard this: "Sanchez feels backed into a corner by City and Udinese purely because of money. He thought a deal to Barcelona was done until City moved in. But he doesn't feel City have the same pedigree as Chelsea and he is excited about working with Villas-Boas." - A Source close to Alexis Sanchez From News of the World btw..

THIAGO ALCANTARA WANTS A CAREER BOAS-T THIAGO ALCANTARA has fired a 'come and get me' message to new Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas. Thiago Alcantara, labelled "Little Xavi" by his Nou Camp team-mates, is unhappy about of his lack of first-team opportunities with the Catalan giants and wants a fresh start. The La Liga and European Cup winners will allow him to leave if someone coughs up £10million – and Arsenal and Liverpool are both keen to sign him. But Thiago, 20, has made it clear that Stamford Bridge is his destination of choice if Barca boss Pep Guardiola can't guarantee him regular first-team football. Thiago, born in Italy and the son of former Brazil international Mazinho, has been starring for Spain in the European Under-21 Championships in Denmark this month. He admitted: "I would be lying if I said that my dream is to succeed at Barca. "My dream is to succeed in football. I want to be a player who people remember for ever." A source added: "Thiago is frustrated because his path to the first-team is blocked by Xavi and Andres Iniesta. "His minutes on the pitch are limited while they continue to pull the strings in midfield, and Chelsea is his favoured destination if he decides to leave. "He is also worried about the possible arrival of Cesc Fabregas, because that would put him further down the pecking order. "It is another factor that has caused him to think about his future. "Thiago believes that the style of football Villas-Boas will bring to Chelsea would suit him perfectly. "And he will be an attractive prospect for Villas-Boas, who will take note of Thiago's desire to play for him." If any of the above is true. Then we need to get a move on. I mean 10 million for the next Xavi/Iniesta?!?

2 weeks ago..Neymar's agent Ribeiro.. Personal Messaged my friend when my friend asked him publicly will Neymar join Chelsea on Twitter.... the agent... replied (via a personal message) "No he will not join Chelsea, unfortunately" Which is really weird.. shocking to see an agent say that .. privately.. to some fan. And yes that is Ribeiro's official Twitter account.. as Neymar follows him, along with other players.. and last year he did admit that it was his twitter account somewhere.... really strange how an agent would talk to a teenager about his player's future...! But yeah last year his agent publicly said Neymar will join Chelsea.. and we all saw what happened..

Ah alright will do, thanks for clearing it up mate!
