He brought in 3 players in a period of transition, 3 quality players but still no enough even if we got modric we still have needed a winger and a RB!

Guys I really do respect AVB and think he is the right coach to lead us to future glory. But what I can’t understand is why he was so inactive in the summer, everybody could see that we needed new players and had deadwood to get rid of! It just gives me the feeling that he had to show his own ego that he could have success with the current squad and that pisses me off! I am a Torres fan(have been since his Atletico days, but stopped when he was at Liverpool) but I can understand benching him after his current performances but I have to say he was starting to come back and it is AVB job to keep that form up and he didn’t do that! Torres did harm himself with the red card but so did drogba! I just hope AVB can win the next games against Newcastle and Valencia and can build a squad around Luiz, Terry, Cole/Bertrand, Romeu, Ramires, McEachran, Sturridge ,Mata, Torres and still use frank when we need him! I didnt say his HASNT earned the right to lead the line! Just said he has played better with other strikers..

I know he likes playing as a lone striker but i think he has been better when playing on the right! You could see it when we were playing blackburn, dont know why but it could be that the pressure is smaller when drogba or torres are playing with him! Think he could be converted into a right wing and could still play down the middle if we need him. That would also help him develop as a player and increase his team effort and his football understanding! I like his style too and his passing skills have gotten better and are helping our team!

Cant understand the subs but i am sure we will beat valencia at the bridge! I think drogba is injured but wouldnt mind giving torres the nod on saturday! I trust that AVB will learn fast!
