  1. Brilliant match. Yes we got lucky with a few decisions but you make your own luck in this game. Great to see some minutes for the young guys, hope to see Solanke more in the near future.
  2. I.T Developer. Although I'm mostly used as a Support Technician. -.-
  3. Chelsea 4 - 2 Liverpool in the FA Cup will always be up there for me. I was only 8 at the time but was already a huge supporter. Going 0-2 in the first half made it seem like that was it, especially with Liverpool having the likes of Fowler, Collymore, McManaman etc. To come back from that was amazing, I remember when Vialli got his second, my Dad lifted me up and we was both going mad in celebration. Seeing the Liverpool players (Mark Wright especially) looking in disbelief was a joy to behold. Another honourable mention was the FA Cup Final that year. It was my first trip to the old Wembley (also went the year after for the League Cup final) and I remembered seeing flags outside the houses before we left to go to Wembley and then winning the first trophy in 26 years was amazing. I think we played 'Blue Day' on the cassette player for months after Fantastic times.
  4. Oh right, I know I heard a rumor but didn't know if it was official. If so, is a shame, he looked a good player.
  5. Unless a move has been agreed elsewhere, Junior Hoilett as a cheaper option?
  6. Anticipating a very good game. Di Matteo's tactics need to be spot on and every player on that pitch needs to give the performance of the season if we're going to have any chance. Scoring two I don't think will be a problem, we all saw Napoli's shaky defense in the first leg. But, we all remember Chelsea's defense that night as well, so I think shutting them out will be a big ask. Realistically, we need four goals to progress. Two right now, yes. But, it will be such a nervy atmosphere if with 5 minutes to go and it's 3-1 to Chels, knowing a Napoli goal would effectively send us out. Cech Ivanovic - Cahill - Terry - Cole Essien - Lampard Sturridge - Mata - Kalou Drogba That's who'd I'd play. Lampard can still do a good job in the center of the park, allowing Mata his free-role. I'm far from being a fan of Kalou, but I feel that he could be a danger. He's pacey and has a few tricks in him, could come in handy. I pray that a clever-minded Sturridge turns up. Not the selfish "Let's take one touch too many then shoot as there now isn't any space" Sturridge that we've seen recently. But I am confident that the team there can progress into the Quarters. "Flying high up in the sky, We'll keep the blue flag flying high, From Stamford Bridge to Wembley, We'll keep the blue flag flying high."
  7. Who knows, we might be in for BOTH De Bruyne and Willian/Hazard??? Considering the loan back deal for KVB, maybe? I know it's more wishful thinking. But, I'm so excited to see KVB in a blue shirt! He looks amazing.
  8. I still think that it should be Hulk to come in. Don't get me wrong, Falcao is an excellent goalscorer, but it's hard to see where he would fit into the system.
  9. Good performance from the lads. Was good to see Drogba with a bit of bite in his play, looking like the Drogba of old. Was a shame with the Torres offside, would have been a good kickstart for him. But was pleasing to see a controlling Chelsea, dictating the game and could/should have scored more than the three they did score.
  10. Torres must start every game 'till the end of the season. He hasn't scored yet, granted. But, like a previous poster said, he needs to keep playing to gel with the team, to get that first goal. I would also like to see some of the youths get some game time, but only some more substitute appearances considering there still is 3rd place to play for.
  11. Hey all, first post I hope this transfer happens. No matter of the fee. Chelsea wont rely on Torres as much as Liverpool would, so whenever he picks up an injury, he won't be rushed back like he does at Anfield so we should have better results with Fernando. On form he is a deadly striker and would love a Torres + Drogba strike force.
