Mike Phelan on Saturday: "Well, the referee saw what he saw and he kept the game rolling. I mean we can't dispute a referee's decision, he's kept the game flowing and we're happy with that". Ferguson yesterday: "You want a fair referee - or a strong referee, anyway - and we didn't get that...these are decisions that change the game. And he's going to be refereeing every week", etc, etc etc. Wish they would make their bloody minds up. Prior to this game I wasn't fussed who won the title between United and Arsenal, but the United reaction after this game is further proof that they're incapable of losing with dignity and therefore much as it pains me to say it, I'd rather Arsenal win the league if we can't have it. Getting away from all that rubbish, thought our second half performance was excellent. David Luiz is becoming a cult hero at Chelsea already, absolutely brilliant composure from him on our first goal. Didier showed a lot more passion than he has of late when he came on. I'm still feeling very postive with Torres, his performances are improving with every game. It's surely only a matter of time until he gets his first goal, and once that happens there'll be no stopping him. I'm just delighted that pretty much everyone in the team picked up their performances and really hope we can continue to play like that until the end of the season.

29 by the start of next season, and yes, I think that is too old for a player like Kaka to adjust to the completely different style of the Premiership. I might give way on that point if he'd been constantly improving over the last few years, but in my view he's been in steady decline.

Setting aside any personal rivalry, fabregas is the best player of the three at the moment. I'm not one of these people who wouldn't want him at the club because he's played for Arsenal...I wasn't too fond of Torres either up until a couple of weeks ago. But we've no chance of signing Fabregas, he'll go to Barca, so I wouldn't say no to Hamsik. Kaka is past his best and sadly I think too old to adapt to the Premiership.

Disgaree there mate, I think their games on paper are probably tougher than ours. They've got 3 away games that they could easily lose - us, Liverpool and City, as well as Arsenal at home (date of that game isn't confirmed). If they play Arsenal while the arse are still in with a shot at the title, I could see them losing that one as well. Our toughest game will be United at OT, but by the time we play them, they might already have the league won and therefore go into the game with nothing to play for. We've got some potentially tricky games aside from that, but the three toughest - Spurs, City and United are all at home. What we have to ensure is that we don't drop points in games we should be winning, and that includes Monday at Fulham. I'm not particularly confident, but I think with Branislav at right back and Luiz in the centre our defence will be shored up and we'll take back a scrappy win.

Tottenham actually have some pretty tough games - ourselves, Liverpool and City away, and Arsenal at home, all of which I could see them dropping points in. One thing that I'm fairly positive about is that apart from United away, all our more difficult looking games on paper are at the Bridge. Very important for us to win tomorrow, otherwise we'll be under even more pressure to keep our top 4 place. Out of interest, anyone know what the situation is if we finish 5th but win the CL, or indeed if we finish in 4th ahead of Spurs and they win the CL? Unlikely I know, but it'd go into my considerations anyhow.

Fully expect us to win this, I'm not expecting any fireworks on our part though, more likely a solid 1 or 2 - 0 win and a run out for the younger players, I'd be happy with that.

I've been thinking myself that the champions this season might win the title with the lowest points tally we've seen in a while. All of the top teams have performed poorly at times...frankly we're lucky to still be top having lost 4 games already. Had United been firing on all cylinders we could've found ourselves with a mountain to climb. Realistically I think one of three teams could win the title, and with all the squads lacking a bit of depth it could come down to who gets the best luck with regards to injuries - whoever can keep their key players injury free in the run in will have a great chance of winning it. I wouldn't agree with you that the top clubs are shit, maybe not as dominant as last season, but I believe that's as much to do with the emergence of Spurs and City as bigger threats to the 'big 4' as the fact that our squads have got weaker. Also, we've seen some terrific performances from the 'smaller' clubs - Sunderland's win against us being a prime example.

Didn't see the game, but I listened to it on the radio. Our inability to create and convert chances in recent games has been frustrating - 1 goal in the last 4 games is a stat that would have been unimaginable to most of us at the end of last season and the start of this when we were banging them in for fun. Got the impression that we lacked direction in pushing for the equaliser and it was bordering on desperation towards the end. Recently I think we've seen that Carlo seemingly can't change a game with his substitutions, although admittedly, looking at our bench in comparison to the likes of United, Arsenal and Spurs, there's a serious lack of options. We've got some tough games coming up, so really need to get it together or we could easily find ourselves in a 'transitional' season. On the bright side, we've lost 4 games and yet are somehow still top of the league...
