I really enjoyed this game. I don't think I can ever enjoy easy wins. I need to sweat buckets, bite nails and live the agony of the game. What can I say? Perhaps I'm a masochist. It was just one of those games. That, plus Patricio played a blinder. Nothing more can be said.. fantastic goalkeeping. I hope we are saving all of those goals for Arsenal.

This beast just keeps doing the business. Hopefully the injury problems are not severe. I don't think I've ever been this excited about a Chelsea striker before. I remember Jimmy being a beast but this is something else entirely.

Oh no, not this again. *Facepalm. I have no right to question someone's love for Chelsea. Never have and never will. I was born in East London and have been to more than my fair share of Chelsea games over the years. However, mainly due to the fact I live abroad now.. I can't attend that often nowadays. I think that some of the Lampard “hate” is a bit overboard as well. As I previously said. I can't dislike Frank. I just can't.. but I can't help but feel disappointed in his actions. He has lied at least twice, possibly three times. I have the right to be disappointed with Frank Lampard. He was my childhood hero. I had more shirts with his name on the back between 2001-08 than I can count. Home, Away, third strips. All of them with Lampard on. Bought memorabilia with his signature on it. Travelled hundreds of miles to see him play. I'm sorry that I feel a little disappointed in him but that's life. He is still a Chelsea Legend and probably the greatest Chelsea player of all time but I am disappointed with his actions. As for the foreign fans. I LOVE that Chelsea has foreign fans. I love the fact that I can go into Lisbon and mock annoying Benfica fans with other Chelsea fans. I love being able to go to Africa and talk with Chelsea fans. I love hearing about thousands of Americans supporting our club. It just shows how much we've grown as a club. This site is proof of that. Wherever we may be, whatever our nationality is, one thing unites us. That thing is blue, that thing is Chelsea FC.

At the moment, I'd agree with that. I don't know why but I am thinking of Lampard during his first two seasons or Drogba during his first two seasons. Not in the style of the player but in the.. almost.. almost feeling. Something is yet to click. 3rd season is the charm. I really hope that I'm right.

I am getting this feeling about Schurrle. Something is missing. Something I can't put my finger on it.. but when it clicks. Note, I said when. I think we will have one really special player on our hands

So Lampard scored twice tonight.. so what? That doesn't annoy me one little bit. However, I think my point about a fan split has been proven again. Lampard has divided the fan base in a way I have never ever seen before at Chelsea. It's normally a collective feeling. We either dislike an ex-player like William Gallas or we love/like them no matter what.. Gudjohnson being a great example. Chelsea FC is bigger than any one player. However, Lampard was not just any other player. The whole thing is so sad and so unnecessary. All over a seven month loan.. all over a seven month loan. It's mystifying that you'd risk your reputation for such a small length of time. For some people, nothing has changed.. for others like Term X.. everything has changed.

I think a lot of us could see that happening. Shaw was clearly a Moyes signing and not an LVG signing. It'll be interesting how his career pans out. Either, he'll rise to the occasion and become a star or.. he'll be the biggest teenage flop of all time.

Only took nearly four years. At this rate, I'll hit ten posts by 2020.

Long time lurker, first time poster.. Well, technically second time but you guys and girls get the point. I have found it hard to put into words about how I feel in regards to Frank Lampard and this Manchester City situation. On one hand, I can't dislike Frank Lampard. I just can't. What he has done for this club is indescribable. With him in our side, we went from a cup team to being Premier League Champions and eventually Champions of Europe. Record goal scorer, he scored THAT penalty against Liverpool for crying out loud. We owe him the World. On the other hand, I can't help feel disappointed in his actions. I have no problem with him playing for Manchester City. I have no problem with him scoring against Chelsea.. besides the obvious. The thing that irks me a little is the lies. I'm not going to play for another English team besides Chelsea. I'm not going to play against Chelsea. Those are two that are definitive lies. The contract issue is hard. Nobody knows for sure but you can draw your own conclusion. What can you say? I still love and respect Frank Lampard but I can't help feeling a little disappointed in his actions. The thing that has saddened me most about this affair is how it has divided the fan base. If you say anything bad about Lampard.. then you are not a real fan. If you aren't upset about this then you are not a real fan either. Lampard is still a legend and maybe the greatest Chelsea player of all time but I'm still a little disappointed.
