Easing Hazard back in is a smart choice. A fresh Hazard for the second half can make a HUGE difference. Keep it tight before then and wear them down.

And what's funny is that the same members of the press who have spent years deriding Chelsea for Terry's many misdemeanours (some who advocated his sacking) are now bashing the club for simply saying NO AT THE MOMENT to a new deal for 35-year-old player (albeit captain, leader, legend etc etc etc). This is all really just a big joke. I'm glad I don't take football seriously any more and can just laugh at stuff like this.

Mourinho must be relieved he doesn't have to deal with Pep in the Premier League. I bet all the comments about loving English football culture and wanting to stay etc stop hitting the press.

1) Best defender, sure. But then who is the competition? A young Zouma and Cahill. Not quite Maldini and Nesta. 2) This season he has struggled a lot. 3) No European football isn't a death sentence. 4 and 5) perhaps we actually do have a manager signed up for next season who is already making moves behind the scenes. Maybe he's the one who doesn't want Terry and wants to keep Ivanovic as a CB?!?!?!

In my first post in this thread after the news broke, I said knowing Terry as a player he won't settle for a back-up role. A new manager trying to (well, hopefully) implement a new style of play and have control of the group can do without the potential headache of a sulking player who has huge influence. Leader, legend, captain etc I absolutely get it but now is as good a time as any for him to leave imo.

What am I supposed to respond with when you say stuff like John Terry is able to literally take a shit on Chelsea fans and be considered a legend? I'm not being controversial at all when I say I hate how Lampard and now Terry have gone about their final few months at the club.

No disrespect Chou, but Terry is your favourite player and I think that sentiment is overriding any rationality on your part. No matter when Terry left there was always going to be this reaction.
