  1. You just know Kalou is going to start regardless of how badly he played against Liverpool. Carlo thinks those meaningless goals he scores count for something. I honestly think Sturridge should have never signed for Chelsea because he will not fulfill his potential here due to lack of playing time.
  2. Drogba has been suffering from malaria. However he starts the game tomorrow. Carlo has said that Alex and Anelka will miss the game.
  3. Yup, you mad. Sorry Badboy. We played great, Chelsea r da bestest teem eva and we winz champiuns leeg fo'eva CMON DA BLOOZ :cfc:
  4. Not with me, just pointing out the inadequacies of our mismanaged squad. Does anybody think Ancelotti has any say in transfer dealings? I can’t believe for one moment that he doesn’t want a reliable third striker at the club to have alongside Anelka and Drogba. Or even a right winger. But maybe Ancelotti having no say in transfer dealings isn’t such a bad idea. After all he did want Pirlo back in the summer of 09 and that would have been a complete disaster.
  5. No problem bro. I'm still pissed off myself and I'll probably cringe at my posts when I read back tomorrow lol.
  6. Calm down dear. We haven't won the CL with better squads (04-06) so it's nothing suprising to say we won't win it with this mismanaged squad. Also Carlo is a nice fella and all but he really doesn't strike me as a thinking coach. He just lets the game go on with trying to do things. You appreciate just how good Mourinho was at changing games when you see Carlo make a like for like sub without changing the approach/style of play in a game.
  7. Fair enough about Ramires. He may or may not improve but at the moment the £17m is looking completely wasted. We could have got ourselves another forward with that and just promoted one of the kids to be as hit and miss as Ramires is.
  8. I'd suggest that Drogba, who is heading towards his 33rd birthday, is changing his style of play. He wasn't always going to be the rampaging bull he can be at his very best. From what I have seen of him this season I think he is playing in bursts and reserving energy to last the whole game. 'Not interested' is very cruel in my opinion. You can't expect a 32 year old to run like crazy all game.
  9. Our squad is thin. One of our most important players (Essien) is likely to be injured when the business end of the season rolls aorund. We can't function without our 32 year old striker, god knows what will happen when he starts to decline. Kalou is a shocking footballer, a mid-table level substitute masquerading as a useful striker for a top European club. Ramires was, once again, shambolic. No awareness, no speed of thought and worst of all a rubbish first touch that meant every second touch was a tackle. This is the worst Liverpool team of the last decade being carried by 2 footballers yet we made the likes of Konchesky look good. It may just be Novemeber but these problems won't magically disappear in March, April or May. The truth of the matter is our squad has been mismanaged. We have three senior forwards (Malouda, Drogba, Anelka) backed up the useless Kalou. Ancelotit clearly doesn't rate Sturridge as he refuses to give him any serious time.
  10. He should have been starting ahead of him for a long time now. He has three things that Kalou doesn't; actual pace, a first touch and a good shot. If Ancelotti doesn't rate him that's fine but to continue playing a weaker player ahead of him just because he scores the 6th goal in a rout is wrong. Sturridge is a better player and anybody with common sense can see that. The time being wasted on Kalou to do nothing would aid Sturridge's development.
  11. You have all just witnessed why we won’t come anywhere near winning the Champions League. We may win the Premier League but, like last season, it will be a case of being the best out of a very bad bunch of teams.
  12. Newcastle 4-3 at Stamford Bridge. How could you forget?!?! Great cup game and McEachran announced his arrival. McEachran
  13. Understood boss but when assessing a game you have look at all the factors. Is every game supposed to be a dominant rout? Of course not. Is a 1-0 until the 80th minute something to be scoffed at? These games are just as valuable as a 6-0 as it shows we can win even after midweek games and not playing particularly well. Sorry to say it but I think many of our fans have been spoiled. Cech,Terry, Ashley, Ivanovic, Mikel, Essien, Zhirkov, Anelka and Malouda had all played in Moscow midweek. That's 8 of our outfield players playing against a team that were very fresh after a weeks rest.
  14. Same. No midweek game in the Carling Cup so the players can get a rest after Moscow/Wolves. Hopefully a few returning from injury hopefully (Alex + Ramires) to improve the match squad.
  15. They've obviously refused to sign. Unless you think the club still haven't offered these 'great prospects' contracts with just a few months remaining on their current deals? Could Kakuta go to Swansea and put in the same level of performences Sinclair has? Most probably not. We've let go of better players in my opinion which is why I'm not particularly fussed.
  16. Because I don't think they're good enough. Certainly no better than SInclair who never got the chances likewise with Di Santo who were both let go. Mancienne a good young player who is Premier Legaue material constantly shipped out on loan yet these two, who the club seem to want to stay, are refusing to sign new contracts. Let them go I say.
  17. The club are rightly not offering silly wages to players who probably won't make it. As long as McEachran is signed up I'm happy! Couldn't care less about Borini or Kakuta to be honest.
  18. Such a poor attitude. Chelsea played in Moscow midweek if you hadn't noticed. Wolves had a whole weeks rest and it showed. They were far fresher and that evened things up quite a bit. This isn't a playstation game were players are on 100% fitness all year round. We were in control for most of the game and looked the more likely to score the goals (which we did). We scored two very well worked goals, kept a clean sheet and suffered no injuries. Cech and Bosingwa in particular were very good. You should be satisfied.
  19. It sounds to me as if the club aren't too fussed about either of them leaving.
  20. Good luck. I hope he doesn't just focus on goal scoring because his all round game needs improvement.
  21. Ronaldo is a powerhouse now who uses his strength and speed to beat players now as opposed to dribbling. Before he bulked up his dribbling was his best asset. Just looking at that video confirms how much Ronaldo was ahead of Kakuta at the same age.
  22. Kakuta at this point looks like a mini Joe Cole; slow, weak, ineffectual and full of useless tricks. Ronaldo at 19 was an integral member of a Portuguese national team that reached the Euro 2004 final. Kakuta at the same age is barely getting Carling Cup minutes. Close control? Ronaldo was a great dribbler before he became the powerhouse that he is now. Kakuta has nothing on a 19 year old Ronaldo, absolutely nothing.
  23. They were very loud, I had to turn the volume down! lol
  24. Why because he 'won' a lot of freekicks? That doens't make him weak. Kakuta is 5'7 at 19. Ronaldo was about 6'0 and obviously weighed more.
