He really is. A player putting his body on the line for this club every single game, we should be really grateful. Oh and he's the best keeper in the world. Players like him don't come around often.
This is essentially a much wider issue. The squad was cut short because we had good young players coming though and Bruma was apparently at the forefront of that group of kids, what with his new 5 year contract and first International cap for Holland behind him. 4 months into the season he has started two games (two essentially meaningless Cup games). His only Premier League apparence was a few minutes at the end of a rout vs Blackpool. Alex struggles with a serious knee injury that needs operating but has to wait until Terry is patched up. Bruma is therefore surplus to requirements. Let him go on loan. Why should he stick around? It's clear he won't play.
Well we all assumed he was 4th choice CB until the Sunderland game. Now we know Ancelotti does not rate him and does not want to use him (unless it's a meaningless game like Zilina). Essien, Ferreria and Mikel will probably be used before him against any decent opposition. There is nothing to suggest otherwise.
I'm 100% sure Essien would be asked to play CB like he has done before. I'd even bet that Mikel would be asked to fill in before Bruma is considered. Bruma is at best 7th choice centre back.
Let him go. It's better for him to play meaningul games albeit in a much weaker league. Anything is better than loitering around at Chelsea while Paulo Ferreria plays CB ahead of you.
No have disagreements with them and try to have a civilized debate. Don't make a seperate thread telling people to 'fark off'. And don't go, we need the forum police to keep us in check.
But you didn't say it like that, you created a seperate thread and told anybody that holds a different view... That was completely uncalled for. If you have a different opionion 'fark off' eh? What a great forum this is.
But this is a forum and not everybody shares the sames views. It would be pretty rubbish if we did. Complaining about people having an alternative view is just silly and it certainly doesn't make anyone less of a fan if they don't like a certain player or coach. Henrique doesn't like Ancelotti...so what? There are many like me who think he's a decent enough coach but far from the best.
Henrique don't go. You are entitled to your opinion just like anybody else. And I actually enjoy reading comments for our fans across the world, I have enough local opinions to last me a lifetime! Come back bro.
Realistically I would hope for Pastore and Vucinic. A 4th centre back would also be ideal. In a dream world we could use about 5 of Barcelona's best players (Xavi, Alves, Messi, Iniesta and Villa).
I'd go with Drogba. Hasselbaink was a superb striker and it's no slight on his ability. I just happen to think that Drogba is one of the best centre forwards ever. I loved Hasselbaink. I wish he had stayed a year longer and been apart of the League winning side under Mourinho.
Fingers crossed. To stand any chance we'd have to have our best 11, anything else would simply be not good enough. The drop off in terms of quality from first team to suqad is huge.
I actually felt really sorry for Ronaldo. They tried to wind him up so much and everything was going against him and his team. He is too good to be on a team that loses a game like that 5-0. To be honest I can acknowledge Barca are a great team but they take the piss too much overplay to humiliate teams. I can't respect that.
