If the kids are not serious alternatives then why did we go into the season with such a small squad? Somebody must have thought these kids were adequate cover. That somebody clearly isn't Carlo as he wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. He has no faith in them whatsoever.

The sad thing is Roman is doing everything right but we're just not getting the results. All that money spunked on the youth system and their training facilities yet we don't have one that can step in and cover for an injured player or is good enough to swap with an underperforming senior. I really feel sorry for us as a club at the moment. Things can only get better eh?

Tell you what we could actually do with a few Stoke players. Fuller over Kalou for starters. A few of their first team players would make out bench no problem. Did you see our bench today? Full of players Carlo simply doesn't want to play. We may as well not have had a bench and just went there with the first 11. Since we're cost cutting we may have saved some money on plane tickets for those 7 players. We're not Stoke but we do not have a sufficient squad. We have the smallest squad in the league and are expected to compete with a Utd team that have about 30+ players. It's simply not possible. We have a striker with malaria that can't get a rest. We have a centre back that needs an operation urgently but has to wait until we patch up the other centre back with a serious nerve problem in his leeg. This 1-1 is not suprising despite what you think.

It's not about what I wanted it's about what is achievable with the current squad. A 1-1 draw with Newcastle is not surpising. Not sure if you remember but we were battered at home 3-0 by Sunderland just a few weeks ago. This is a step in the right direction. We actually scored a goal for one.

We dominated today and got a result. This is a normal period. With such a thin squad I doubt any other team would be able to manage better.

Newcastle sat back in the second half, no wonder Ramires looked a lot better. He had the freedom of St James Park. Technically he is a poor player; his passing, positioning and awareness are all lacking. You expect a £18m midfielder to be able to control the ball and make forward thinking passes. I don't expect him to be Frank but I expect him to be as good as the Newcastle midfielders at the very least. He may come good and I hope he does but at the moment he is woefully inept and out of his depth.

Tiote who ran the show for Newcaslte cost £3m. He is about 10x the player Ramires is. Whoever scouts for Chelsea is stealing a living.

Making the same passes but slower than required for it be anywhere close to being effective. Ramires is shocking. Genuinely one of the worst players I have ever seen seen in a Chelsea shirt. They really weren't. Guardiola had fallen out with Eto'o and wanted him gone...at any cost. They effectively let him walk and bought Ibrahimvoci for £46m. Guardiola later had a falling out with Ibra and now he's also gone at a huge loss. Guardiola is also the one who instigated the Hleb and Chygrinski deals.

All thanks to Roman actually. Arnesen had the easiest job in the world; find out who the latest hyped up kid is and barge in with Roman's money. It was that simple. No skill required on Arnesen's part. Anybody could do it. Kalou was bought for about £8m. They obviously had very high hopes for him which he has not lived up to.

If I was the manager ... -Sturridge would play and start more games -PVA would be 2nd choice left back and not Zhirkov -Bruma would be 4th choice centre back and not Paulo Ferreria -while also giving McEachran and Kakuta minutes -sack Kalou I'd be a better coach for the kids than Carlo is currently!

Well I'm just calling it how I see it. He was being paid millions for signing highly rated youngsters everybody had heard about. I can do that! I could just search around the internet and come up with 50 names. The truth is Arnesen is a complete fraud. His reputation is undeserved, he has literally done nothing whilst he has been at Chelsea and even got a promotion for his troubles! A complete and utter waste of time. I would love to see a full list of all his signings (read failures).

So what if he goes? What did he actually do? Anybody can sign the most highly rated youngsters when you have huge financial backing like Roman. There are people who will do it for far less money than Arnesen was 'earning'. Mikel is the only young player who has come through and everybody in Europe had heard of him. Arnesen didn't scout him personally or spot him, he was well known! The truth is our best youngster is McEachran who was at the club long before this idiot arrived. Good riddance!
