First one was a clear mistake from the WBA wall. Second goal lol not luck but not a quality goal at all, just dropped in front of him, he couldn't miss from there. And the third was heavily deflected. I'm not saying he played bad - he played great, just saying his goals were lucky and not those quality goals that we know from him. Still he played very good, worked very hard - and scoring three goals (no matter how) without having full fitness shows his quality.

I really hope he signs for us, but more than 25m would be too much, don't you all think? I mean he hasn't got any experience in Europe and his physique is very poor - all this could change, but 30m is a price for European top class players like Sheva (when he arrived from Milan, nobody expected him to flop). Or let's say Aguero or Balotelli... Does anybody know how much City paid for Balotelli?

Great scoreline, 6-0 is absolutely fantastic. Of course we have to improve concerning our playing style, but for now this was enough and good. Drogba's goals were lucky, but I don't care and I'm sure Drogba does neither, starting a season with a hattrick and a 6-0 win is simply superb. I'm a bit sad about Kakuta having not even made the bench but that's not really important right now - it's more important for the main squad players to gain match time and come back to full fitness as quick as possible. Malouda was very good, Anelka ran a lot really, Lamps was on 50% and still scored and had some very inspiring moments, Ashley was also great. Just wonder why Ferreira got the nod ahead of Brane. Maybe just a fitness issue, hope Ivanovic is still Carlo's first choice at right back - at least while Bosingwa is still injured.

You know why I don't think he'll get 6... Look here, Carvalho is listed as number 6, they've already sold new kits with 6 and Riccy's name on it. Same with 20 (Deco) and 13 (Ballack). I think 14 or 16 - or maybe 4...

DW is always hard for us somehow, I'd take a 1-0 immediately. They will play much better than they did against Blackpool - but we will play better than we did on Saturday, too. I hope for a 2-0 come 70th minute and then a Ramires debut - though I wouldn't be suprised if it was a hard fought game...

First of all I wonder why you didn't list the 13? But I'm going for 14 cause it's a long time anybody had that number if I'm not mistaken and it would be kind of HIS number then. 9 and 7 don't fit to Ramires positionwise - 4 belongs to Maka (yeah I know, we can't retire a number like that but it's too early to give it away I feel), 20 is somehow ugly and 6 is also too early to give away. I wouldn't be surprised to see Zhirkov take the 14 to hand the 18 to Ramires... but that's rather unlikely.
