Why I just did! What were you upto? Smoking stuff? Anyway, don't post in this thread if you haven't got constructive, on topic stuff to talk about. Fuck off to your hip hop forums

^Ah the irony

I don't hate Tottenham. And I can't bring myself to hate them...to me they're more of a joke, to be laughed at every now and then. Yeah they're derby rivals and all that but cba. They're shit anyway. The only club I properly 'hate' is l'Arse, followed by scumpool.

Yet another attempt by tx to derail a serious thread by referring to a completely non-related silly issue that happened months ago. Pathetic. He will be, but hopefully in due time and not in a rushed manner.

Well be my guest then ... I'm staying away from this madness I'd rather wait until we get something official till I start discussing how he fits in. The kid changes his words every other week ffs.
-
The kid keeps coming out with these nonsensical lines every few days. Chelsea, Juventus and now Barcelona have all been mentioned by him as dream moves., only to quickly follow it up with statements like 'I'm happy here and want to stay' or 'I will discuss with my parents and agent' etc. They're all feeding the media frenzy when a simple 'no comments' would suffice. And here we are debating for page upon page why he would be perfect us/who would he replace/is he better than Lukaku or Sanchez. Unnecessary bollocks.

Red nose up to his usual tricks. Playing the victim once again and putting the limelight on referees ahead of the game. Don't be surprised if most decisions go manyoo's way. btw, how did he suddenly lift the media blackout ahead of the most important game so far this season?
-
Joe Cole : Carroll is like a young Drogba. What does poor ol' Joe do these days apart from giving interviews? Twat.
-
Bwahaha this is fucking hilarious...now Barca is his dream move. Anyone still want to put up fantasy future lineups?
-
What happened to him?

Interesting. It's quite logical from the pov of those companies tbh. Why would they pay that much per annum for those rights, considering even with the whole naming rights business, we'd still need to move in the future. This is the best thing that could have happened in this situation. Now the board will be forced to move in order to secure our long term financial future and not look at naming rights as a short term solution. Breaking even and non-reliance on Roman's handouts will happen quicker.

He is not being groomed as a defensive midfielder. He's being played there so that he gets more time on the ball and doesn't become very susceptible to hard challenges from the opponent's defence. It's an exercise in getting him comfortable on the ball in a first team scenario while still allowing him to display his passing range and close control. I'm perfectly satisfied with the way he is being introduced into the team, and it is something the coaching staff deserve credit for. They're handling him with kid gloves and not throwing him in at the sharp end in a bid to appease the crowds who can't wait to see him as some sort of attacking messiah. As regards next season, like it's been mentioned already, it'll be too early for him to be handed that role. So we should get a new creative midfielder and continue giving Josh time here and there or failing that, let him go out on loan to continue his footballing education.

Drogba is a drama queen of the highest order and gets on my nerves as well, I wouldn't be surprised if what Scolari said is true. But what I'm more annoyed about, is him mouthing off to the press every few months about us. The guy's desperate to keep himself in the headlines now that he's returned to his country. Also notice how his 'revelations' coincide with us hitting good form. (Ah the beauty of siege mentality - thank you, Jose ) Interesting also is the fact that now he's retracting his claim about player power getting him the sack. I distinctly remember him blaming his exit on Ballack, Drogba and Cech.

By far our coolest third kit ever! It's got class written all over it.

:goodpost: Agreed mate - Our 4-4-2 will be so much better if we move away from it's current 'flat' midfield, and the only way that can happen is if Mikel plays alongside Lampard. Emenalo spoke about how the narrow midfield is a conscious decision, effectively admitting that Essien's defensive abilities aren't what they used to be and thus requiring Ramires's assistance. Mikel's presence would free up Ramires even more, and it will be advantageous to the team, like he showed yesterday against Scotland. The only downside of that centre midfield pairing would be that it's not very quick/mobile.
-
Bring in the big boys as far as I'm concerned. That means Drog, Ivan, Essien, Mikel. Cech Bos, Ivan, JT, Cole Essien, Mikel, Lampard, Zhirkov Drogba, Kalou/Torres/Anelka

So does every player in the world, including Super Frank

Great player, but not of the type that we need. And as someone already said, it won't be happening anyway.
-
Agree. Just shows how much we lack an attacking midfielder...Lamps wouldn't be in this side if we had one.

From Vital Chelsea "John Obi is very unhappy." "He is 100 per cent fit but is being overlooked and is too good a player to be sitting on the bench or, worse, in the stands." "He can`t understand it as he was one of the first names on Carlo`s team-sheet last season when the team won the Double." "He needs to play more. He loves Chelsea but he may have to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer if he is no longer a part of Ancelotti`s plans." Apparently some tabloid mentions a source supposedly close to Mikel, and also refers to a £25 million figure, with United and Real interested. .......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Seems like a slow news day at the office. But with Ramires in such fine form and Lampard back from injury, Mikel's not going to get too much game time barring injuries/suspension.
