Learn real-time why Cole is who he is. He is the most relaxed player on the pitch. He has the least inner dialogue. He is in a flow of instinct. It’s well documented for a long time across all sport. It is why I auto writeoff players who exude anxiety. Disasi, Badi, Caicedo. I don’t rate players whose baseline is to act nervous. The opposite end of the spectrum results in what is truly, the highest level. It is down to more than feet, and you need to assess it player by player. We have many average wired heads in the squad. It takes a more let’s face it autistic level of obsession with the game. That’s what you want in your side. No distractions. No social media Noni. No reason for anything Extra. You can scout this, you can bank on it.

Why not Caicedo exactly
-
He has shit defensive awareness. Telling it now so when everyone says it in one year we can come back, and hopefully credibility for when I call someone out next time. Leave Enzo alone. Players like Caicedo are a JOKEEEEEE to top teams. Was saying it before he arrived. Does NOT do the BASICS. Doesn’t check over his shoulders. Doesn’t scan. Is erratic - reason I’m not a fan of Chuk. Just a joke imo. You don’t say so when easily adjust to the new lower levels. I prefer the higher levels and haven’t forgotten them. Caicedo is the player who makes the most mistakes after Mudryk. Disasi and Badi do have a few faultless games under their belt. Caicedo’s best still flirted with a red card.

Before the goal if any space to become the resident Seb

No man Enzos fault this week

There is not one defensive midfielder in our squad. Not XI — squad. No idea what information was peddled and bought re Caicedo being a defensive midfielder. He’s a midfielder. Neither a defensive one nor attacking one, same as Lavia, which I think people went over before asking where are the goals in this midfield, same time where are the tackles.
-
That is not why Caicedo hit the ball askew and passed it to wolves
-
I personally think Caicedo is shambolic. I’ve not seen one single game wherein he doesn’t do something mindblowingly Sunday league. I don’t care if he hits whatever stats or recycles possession like born into a family of recyclers when it’s clear he has liability in his boots every single game, nevermind imagine the big stages.

What is that system
-
Grateful. Really not a fan of B tier hyped as A tier

of all players let’s take craps on the players who don’t actually serve the ambition of being a top side again no need to be kneejerk or obtuse in isolation, many years supporting club arm us all better in knowing who merits who doesn’t merit being under the microscope Enzo is not an issue lol
-
If we had some sort of defensive winger on the right, could support Enzo and Caicedo in the defensive phases, while holding shape and creating openings to slip others bombing forward. There’s a real lack of balance in having both Madueke and Mudryk flanking the wings, Palmer central, with Enzo x Caicedo, of course unless presuming will have 99% possession — but Mudryk x Jackson preclude turning it over, so we will have to defend. But who. Lol Olise imo was going to be an Aguero type signing and show to be that size of a miss. Hard to reconcile for me the idea that we are even half decent out wide all considered all phases of the game. And yet people discuss Osimhen. Paez isn’t a winger and Estevao is only one, and more an attacking mid in how he plays. Wide players who are happy to get the ball back. 0. 😔

For me I can’t unsee what was pointed out re Lavia. Every player gets past him, so he then fouls them. That’s his primary mode of defending. I really dislike his profile of play

I saw people encouraging and highlighting an angle where Chalobah has a right to legally stay here and essentially attack the club (rightfully so, the right people, justified attack), with I don’t know the FA is it maybe, to say hey, I’m going nowhere, and you can’t force me to, or mistreat me. Most players just move on but technically if within contract we have always known, a player can say No to every option. I wish Galladog did that but at the club they probably built a frame that if he stayed, he would be to blame for inability for the collective to move forward. They did that to me in school when I didn’t wear uniform, saying they’d cancel school trips for whole school. So I left lol

Felix - I’d love a loan! Love you guys! Return? Omg let’s goooooo! Even if a rotation option! 😮 Osi - A loan? Fuck off Who wants to be here? Fuck Osi
-
That said yes one of his assists himself last night, was awful. Commenting now cause just seen Goldberg and co on twitter going OMG WHAT AN ESTEVAO ASSIST. They do not understand the disparity between leagues at all. Shouldn’t have been an assist, should have been a turnover to the other team, it was very sloppy execution from Estevao and any top 5 league would have tackled him 5 metres prior. To balance the view i guess

Osimhen is either on or off. That’s not a top player. End of really. Excusable when you’re 22 in an unstable environment. When you’re in the high flying team though whether Napoli or Nigeria yet go on total barren spells for both. Aguero no. Suarez no. Lewandowski no. Drogba no. What are you doing when you’re not scoring. What are you creating, what are you exuding and infecting the teammates with, drive or head down. Osi is not special. Not even remotely. I would rather take a 38 year old Di Natale if we could rewind the years. I’d rather take a 40 year old Totti. Unless Osi was on 60k a week. Like many transfers, him being on everyone’s lips arose via PR.

And just like that

Do miss having all of Mason “the Mountain”, Jammy Tammy Abrajam and Grease Flames all together just cause I liked the nicknames I had for them. They were organic eggs from Stamford Fridge. This is why Cole Palmer is “cold”. Interesting lore

I can’t believe part of the BlueCo winning strategy is Wait for Pep to Leave. From their own statements still cannot believe it
-
Caicedo vibes
-
We should try Broja as a traditional 6, we need height back there and he has decent pace, awareness, can trade finishing boots for tackling and done, voila. Similar to McTominay, please don’t knock it

Madueke will leave. He isn’t good enough. They are seemingly identifying that. Mudryk isn’t magically going to learn the basics and then speed run to being a great player this year. How many years already. Neither of them will be in contention for a starting role here next season whatsoever Nkunku, Cole, Felix prefer central role. If Cole doesn’t outright announce he prefers it, he suits it better. Neto is one winger. Mudryk isn’t in contention. Madueke is more out the door than in; could settle for 50-50; he won’t be here for long. Wings are extremely thin on quality. Estevao is too young to take the burden alone, don’t want him broken at an early age. Paez can play anywhere up front, ie there’s space for him, though again young. I don’t think it’s true that we have too many AMs — Central AMs yeah. LAM and RAM we’ll call them are still looking fucked. I do not believe madueke is about to become a city sterling or that mudryk gets blessed by Gandalf. Wings are concerning. There’s definitely space for shuffling up there

This is essentially what I said about Kamala, from a VP candidate, a couple hours ago. I think it puts it well. It’s scary what’s going on between a small group of elites posing as the good guys. They’ve chosen people who look charismatic, and fed them what they’re open to being fed, from US to UK for a while now, which explains a lot.

Player he reminds me most of is like CRonaldo during Madrid wing days, but with Sporting Lisbon era rawness. I feel Estevao has a similar way of using his body, and the amount of time he takes and doesn’t take with different things, holding and releasing. I could see him becoming pretty much the same profile as CR winger, just not the same pace, but still ending up same positions with similar technique. feel grateful to see it. Was watching neymar back in santos days when he still had no picture on fifa. He was another level he was, better than anyone I’ve ever seen. Estevao is definitely the second best I’ve seen from Brazil. He is not really close to the neymar level that happened back then, but closest, which is far ahead of everyone else still. He is extremely good. The last level would be magical. Paez has amazing instinct and composure but less tools. In another league would be an amazing poacher alongside him. Hopefully works out in PL. unsurer re Paez there.
