  1. Full Time: ('77 Lavezzi, '45 Pazienza s/o) Napoli 1-2 AC Milan (22' Robinho, 72' Ibrahimovic)
  2. (77' Lavezzi) Napoli 1-2 AC Milan
  3. Napoli 0-2 AC Milan (72' Ibrahimovic)
  4. I can only answer your first question, don't know much about Hernandez.. Momo Sissoko is not being used that much by Juve now. In fact there's a rumour going around that Juve-Wolfsburg will trade Sissoko for Dzeko & of course Juve would pay more because Dzeko is worth more.
  5. Agreed, despite my shared views with him he's a proven single minded, ignorant oaf who still maintains his hate for English football.
  6. Michele Pazienza sent off for a second yellow (2nd handball)
  7. Surely that can't be how the system works is it?! :|
  8. Napoli 0-1 AC Milan (22' Robinho)
  9. AC Milan playing Abbiati in goal. What the hell did they sign Amelia for?!
  10. I don't think referral systems would work in football. It would simply kill the flow of the game, I think Platini doesn't want to use technology because then he'd have to create the boundaries of what/what can not be referred. I think if technology was to come in it should be at a referee's discretion. They all wear ear pieces now so he can simply ask the question through the mic, but again boundaries should be guidelined for them. As it is, the role of 4th official is still disputed. Last season in La Liga there was an incident (forgot the match) where the defender fell in the area whilst defending, then handled the ball away on purpose. The referee missed it, but the 4th official brought it up and the defender was subsequently & rightfully sent off. The point to that is, there was a huge appeal launched by the other team, their defence being the 4th official is not allowed to interfere in play like that. With the same point, the rules using technology would have to be so clear cut that no conflict could arise. And frankly I think it would cause more controversy/complaints than it would bring "fair play" in.
  11. I have the fear to be honest. This will give Rooney and United the mental boost to play more positively. Just on a side note by the way. I'm sure if this was Drogba the media would attack, attack & attack. But it's poster boy Wayne, they go all hush hush.
  12. Haha I guess I'm the only one who'd say he's right I guess. I think technology should be used for if the ball passes the line, & nothing more. Not for penalty decision and not for offside.
  13. Thing is. I understand Platini's point, because to a certain extent the mistakes are a part of football. Technology in football would be very hard to implement, simply because it flows so quickly. With sports like tennis and cricket you can stop and wait for a decision because there's no fixed limit for a match (to the extent football is) and so it would take a while.
  14. I initially thought a draw. But I think this time we can have them. Last season we didn't play well because our defence let us down, and let's not forget this was like the 2nd game after the Terry scandal so the team morale was a bit off. This time, we're lucky, the fixture has come when we're on form and winning comfortably (ish) so I think we'll win this. Mind you, I don't think it'll be the most entertaining of matches.
  15. Or perhaps they've said "we'll talk about contract issue after the season" because that's what most players do. They like to focus on the season 100% and then handle contract negotiations, in fact that was Roman's policy last season. And I think you're wrong. I believe (from seeing Kakuta AND Sinclair play in the reserves for Chelsea) Kakuta would outshine Sinclair at Swansea, but that's here nor there. I agree. Stoch comes to mind, however you're clearly denying the talent Borini and Kakuta have. Surely you much appreciate their potential to be great?
  16. Who said they're refusing new contracts? Find me one article that says "Borini refusing to sign a new contract" or that "Kakuta refusing to sign a new contract". Carlo said they're yet to sign a contract not that they're refusing to sign it. Borini and Kakuta are both great prospects. Over hyped? Perhaps. But to deny their potential talent is ignorant of you, I believe. Borini and Kakuta have proven just as much as Josh that they're immense emerging talent. Di Santo had his chance. He failed to impress on loan, he failed to impress in the reserves, would you rather we kept players who aren't good enough? Same goes for Sinclair, he had his chance with us and he didn't impress. He's doing brilliant in the Championship, but maybe that's because he's found his level of football now. Mancienne still has a future with Chelsea, he's been loaned out to a Premier League team so if he shines, Chelsea will definitely retain his services.
  17. SkySports News just reported Malouda picked up an ankle injury on Saturday. They reported, Chelsea don't think it's serious.
  18. Does anyone know how many games it's been since we were last beaten at Stamford Bridge? How great would it be to replicate (& go beyond) the 86 we once had :chelsea2:
  19. Napoli vs Milan tonight on ESPN. Should be a good one..
  20. If I'd read this at the beginning of the season I would've laughed it off. But the fact he's already got 6 means he's definitely on his way.
