  1. Mudryk and Nkunku also combined well with NJ in preseason, main reason I’m so happy with him - he looks an absolute dream to play with and I bet the players fucking love having him there.
  2. Could definitely end up regretting not getting Kudus but let’s see. It seems that the club wanted to prioritise PL experience which is why we went for Olise I guess, but not sure who it could be at this point. Suddenly the Nunez rumour popped up but hard to believe it…
  3. More important that he gets a good season of regular football than anything. Is there space in the Forest XI for him? What kind of football do they play?
  4. If Nico had gone to Bournemouth or whenever he was linked in Jan we would be so frustrated RN good reminder NOT to be annoyed if we are in for players other top clubs are not at the time
  5. Typical performance after a loss, nervous players for a lil bit but every player grew in confidence as the game went on. Malo finally arrived to be the guy we saw in preseason by the 2nd half. Sterling is real hot right now, thank fuck. He’s tended to have periods like this that fizzle out but if he can play like this until Nkunku is back we should be happy. I love NJ.
  6. Saw a stat pop up in the game just now that I’ve already forgotten, something about most runs for teammates / most sprints in the league?
  7. Thank you. It is important to protect the forum from abuse like this. It is hard to say in individual circumstances for sure but it’s an inevitability that rival fans will sign up here to wind us up. Almost 99.99% chance he was not a Chelsea fan.
  8. Agreed, how can you press if that is a yellow lmao
  9. He’s just the stereotypical WUM here to annoy Chelsea fans
  10. I am feeling the same sadly. Absolutely disgusted.
  11. Mudryk isn’t even in the squad, he’s injured. Trolling is beneath you.
  12. Poch 2000% vindicated for sticking by him, all preseason he was shit but Poch knew better. Respect.
  13. That’s where he’s been playing all season…
  14. It is again probably 4-2-3-1 with Colwill LB and Chilwell LW. It is like Poch doesn't believe Chilwell can play LB from a defensive PoV..and maybe he is right...
  15. Ok so it is actually a loan in the region of what I was saying, i.e. a loan with a decent fee and all wages covered - that is the only circumstance I could see the logic in us changing our stance. It might be sensible, if he has even just an average year the transfer value we would hope for will still be at least as high as it is today, given that we've been talking about selling him for basically peanuts for his level. If he has a good year, might get even more for him next year + another year of ammortization done.
  16. I don't know anything about Luton except that it is a massive shithole, so not sure what to expect. Hoping for us to score a bunch and not that bothered if we ship 1 or 2 in the process as long as we win. Also hoping to see a team selection that does not feature Colwill LB, Chilwell LW.
  17. We should stay away if it isn't a sensible deal.
  18. Not interested at £80m in Jan tbh. That's MAYBE his summer transfer window value coming off of a full, good season where he's scored 20+ goals. Not his Jan value after a lengthy ban with zero training. I would think £50m + some serious performance related add ons (maybe up to £15m?) would be sensible.
  19. Just stand fast and force him to Saudi. No loans, unless there is an obligation to buy or a punitive loan fee (£10m + wages covered).
  20. Saudi buying players in their prime is just in its beginnings IMO, the more they build a genuinely competitive league the more will follow, when the wages can be 10x or more it’s inevitable this is just the beginning. Paths forward seem to either be an intervention from football authorities (who are corrupt and generally work for the highest bidder), boredom or disinterest from the Saudis saves our bacon and we return to status quo, or Super League 2.0 where their teams compete with ours and all agree to work under the same financial framework as some kind of CL alternative / replacement.
  21. There’s no one available that I have a particular interest in tbh. Toney in Jan to compete with NJ and call it done for the year
  22. He will do well at West Ham, probably be repeatedly linked away for big money and they’ll sell him for 3x in some number of years.
