We definitely would of been better off with Potter. Frank is clearly not at the required level tactically as our pressing is disorganised, no reliable chance creation and the team generally looking clueless in all parts of the pitch. An elite manager can’t come soon enough.

There is literally no excuse for that performance. I really wanted Potter to work but I don’t see how he comes back from this.

Unfortunate result but this Dortmund side is 100% there for the taking in the second leg. With a bit more match fitness and more sharpness in front of goal, we should get them.

I think we need to give him more time. Although we are not looking great, we’re going through a transition and have definitely made progress since we got the January transfers in. Our squad before was severely lacking plus the injuries to so many key players didn’t help. Our defence is looking solid so that should give him a platform to build on. We’ve pretty much replaced our attack with exciting young players who need time to gel with each other. My only concern with him is that he doesn’t exude the personality of an elite manager but I guess time will tell.

I really don’t see us sacking two managers in one season. If he stays, I hope he keeps building on this 4231 and doesn’t change the system. Kante and Chilwell need to get to full fitness asap.
