  1. There must be a reason man City let him go. I don't want to pick up leftovers after the top team. That's what teams in Italy do with juventus. That's what arse and spuds used to do with us.
  2. I cannot get over the fact that he looks like a pig.
  3. Have we spoken to him about our "vision" yet?
  4. I think Bellingham may go to Real. He is the only superstar that will be available this summer. Other option for himnwould be City. I don't think Liverpool have the money for him anyway
  5. I think we should just let him rot in the reserves. There is obviously no way back for him and I don't want to do Inter any favours when they never sell us their players. Swapping lukaku for Bastoni or Skriniar was such an obvious deal for both of us but they are stubborn and still want to one up us. Make them splash out on a new backup and destroy fat roms career is my take from this.
  6. Liverpool have this problem too. Its taken Milner and TAA out.
  7. Tbf Enzo is probably worth 40m too, but he just won world cup
  8. I would let him retire here if he wasn't on 300k a week.
  9. https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1606301917998612480?s=20&t=XPFll7sxKczIae6eBlfS5Q
  10. Fabrizio tweet saying kante is leaving Idk how to post tweets directly in here
  11. From the fact tuchel was sacked because he didn't believe in the "vision". Best thing to solve that is to employ a yes man.
  12. Will Havertz start this match? I need to know for fantasy football reasons... if he replicates his WC and friendly form he will be banging them in for fun. Maybe we just aren't creating enough for him.
  13. Tbf he takes on more than 1 man at a time so his dribbles past come in multiples. Still needs to work on his end product.
  14. I won't support a man City Scouse snake no matter how many goals he scores (and he wont, he will be on the bench once nkunku comes in). Noone spoke about cucu either. Boehly is the knee jerker spending 150m on dregs like sterling and auba, and injury prone fofana. Bringing in experts like vivell and shields was the smartest thing he ever did because he will never have the sporting knowhow to know a 443 formation doesn't exist. Its obvious he hasn't really watched football in the past and is just an investor. Roman loved the club and sport and never treated it as an investment opportunity. He pumped millions in without saying a word. Like mourinho used to tell him "Pay Mr Abramovich, pay and don't speak." He sold the club at a loss because he loved the club and didn't want to see us destroyed by sanctions. On the other hand Boehly sacked our CL winning manager because he didn't want a swept up Ronaldo. He sacked him for a yes man like potter and is hiring more yes men to make transfers so they can be scapegoated like Tuchel was. Tuchel should been given time and funds to transition the team to 433. Instead he was put under pressure, in a window where not many targets were available. He was forced to sign these players just to make up numbers, where a knowing owner would've written off the season and encouraged him to bring through some youngsters instead. These are the reasons I will never support fat boehly the way I supported Abramovich. Investment and love aren't in the same category.
  15. Dude I wasn't the one comparing players, the guy I replied to did. I just commented on coutinhos ability. You have a point here. Like with arsenal it's a wait and see thing.
  16. So only coutinho recently? Romario came from there over 30 years ago. I don't rate coutinho that highly, he overperformed with suarez in front of him and was found out as soon as he moved to barca. Currently can't even breakthrough into the villa team.
  17. I'm not that fussed about him tbh. He was playing in Brazilian second league so I'd take his stats with a pinch of salt.
  18. All I want for Christmas is the following: The arsenal and man City mercenaries out of my team. Fofana to get some new knees. Some of these youngsters were buying to actually break through, unlike the last batch. And arsenal to not win the league.
  19. Problem is all of those signings were busts. Kk, sterling, auba, fofana are all shit. Only moderately decent one was cucu. Boehly fucked us for years to come by putting all these guys on massive contracts. No wonder we're signing youngsters because we have no space on the wage bill for actual players. Idk why tuchel was made in charge of transfer targets especially if boehly was thinking of getting rid of him cause he can't play 443 and didnt want ronaldo. We should've made 1 or two smart signings and acted like we did during the transfer ban, promoting youngsters like colwill and Hall and only signing players where we had no other option. Broja should've been first choice this season (not saying he's good enough or isnt) just because auba sucks. Sterling shouldn't have been signed cause we basically helped City make their money back for haaland. These two transfers especially will kick us in the ass for 2-3 year and I will keep reminding you guys when they are both sitting on 200 and 300k on the bench by next year if not sooner.
  20. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64055335 Isco's contract was terminated
  21. Maybe an unpopular opinion: We should have signed Casemiro as a stop gap DM to help us transition into 433 this year. He would have chosen us over Manure for CL.
  22. No I think your point is right. There just isn't a plethora of available superstar CBs atm. Fofana ( especially for his price) and KK were stupid buys but we needed to fill squad space after Rudiger and Christensen. We desperately need colwill to step up or we will be overpaying for 2 more CBs with maybe some potential but definitely not the elite tier than Gvardiol falls into.
