  1. That is what I doubt actually. We will have the same problems with a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. We saw that last season. But we will see after the international break maybe.
  2. Well, then we should use the holistic way of robsblubot and look at the midfield and attacking players and their positioning too. Maybe our defenders have to slow down bc they are badly positioned.
  3. The xG algorithm takes all of this into account and we are up there with City in this aspect. The team contribution to our goals in 2017, when we last won the PL title, wasnt even that big, it was basically Hazard and Costa who carried the whole attack. But it worked. Nothing can explain or excuse this: The rest of the team contributed more than enough this season for our attackers to score Ofc people should talk about the whole team but the fact that our fanbase is talking more about Silva atm than about Madueke, Mudryk and Jackson is kinda weird. Its like blaming McDonalds for getting fat.
  4. So Chelsea cant score clear chances, 11 big chances missed this season already, top of the table in that aspect but Chelsea fanbase mainly talking about Silva? Kinda weird The main problems are Mudryk, Madueke and Jackson. None of them has offensive efficiency. Our best attacking player in the last 5 years in terms of efficiency was Marcus Alonso.
  5. Yeah, we can talk about systems, formation, set up all day long but truth is if we play the same system we have but with Haaland up front instead of Jackson we would be in the top4 rn. Football is about scoring goals. We are creating enough to score goals, but we fail to do so.
  6. xG City 2.00 - scored 5 xG Spurs 2.40 - scored 5 xG Brighton 1.32 - scored 3 xG Chelsea 2.28 - scored 0 We have the same xG than City in this season so far - they scored more than double the amount of goals. Same old. Since Costa and Hazard left us, we lack offensive efficiency a lot.
  7. And we will see Sterling on the left for sure. I think Poch wants to have a consistent lineup, a clear foundation for the start, and when this is set, make small changes. Cant blame him for trying to play it consistent and kinda save after such a chaotic season. Build your structure first, then vary within this structure. What makes it more complicated is that Madueke hasnt been fit during preseason and Mudryk catched some weird "injury?" and Palmer is the new guy. We will see more changes after the international break for sure.
  8. And still u could see that all his confidence was gone last year and even in this years preseason. Funny how 90% of people here wanted him sold to the Saudis 1 month ago and now he is our best player so far. Just shows how little we know abouot football.
  9. So u think u know better than Poch. That hybris lol
  10. Sterling had 1 entire shit year and now is slowly coming back to form so consistency is really key for him now. Imagine switching him to the left and he is shit there, all his confidence would be gone that he built after the 2 last games before the international break.
  11. Madueke never played on the left wing in his entire career. Gosh, teams managed by u lots would get relegated with 0 points.
  12. People really thinking that a 21yo player who never started a PL game in his career comes right into the starting lineup for Chelsea after 2 days of training are more than delusional
  13. Sterling does well on the right side and Mudryk has been shit, so we have no other left winger.
  14. Its not really a 4 at the back tho, but rather Colwill being LB and Chilwell being the left winger.
  15. But to be fair there wasnt even 1 rumour or news concerning a loan move since we signed him - so maybe this wasnt even on the table.
  16. So in the end we havent used all our loan slots - wonder if Poch wanted to keep the ones like Ugo or Washington or if we didnt find a good place for them.
  17. Forest have signed 25 players since last summer - loans excluded. Thats exactly the same amount as.......Chelsea 😂
  18. Absolutely - players coming back from long term injuries who shouldnt be rushed (Broja, Badiashile), players out for another few weeks/months (Chukwu/Nkunku), Jackson gone for the AFCON + guys who would not expect a lot of minutes anyway (Washington, Ugo maybe) + your daily Chelsea injuries. So 24 field players isnt too much atm. Tbh if Maatsen doesnt sign an extension I would send him to U21.
  19. Sanchez Petrovic Bettinelli Badiashile Colwill Disasi Chalobah Silva Cucurella Chilwell Maatsen James Gusto Enzo Caicedo Lavia Ugo Gallagher Sterling Mudryk Chukwu Madueke Palmer Nkunku Jackson Broja Washington So 27 - yes a bit big, but you know Chelsea - how many are available at a time?
  20. By or to? Minus 140 doesnt really make sense
