  1. Not a single time in last three seasons trying to defend 1 goal lead for 60+ minutes has ended well for us…
  2. We look just as panicked as against Bayern, but it's no Bayern, it's WHU, come on.
  3. Against parked bus and efficient defence an intuition would suggest trying to surprise the opponent or try some long shots, whereas we are ridiculously stubborn in trying to work it into the box, or actually work it into the goal. Looks like Sarriball level of non-adaptivity, but different, worse flavor.
  4. Absolutely agree. Some were wondering how the system will change as there were no 1:1 spots for them in Chelsea tactics and well, the system hasn't changed and Frank went with some makeshift squeezing them in, with effects like we all see. It's not good to change the tactics for one player on this level, but without smart idea how to incorporate talent into the team it's just a waste, as Werners individual skill doesn't do much when played as Puli's/CHO impersonator. Actually, at this moment I'd happily see us sport some „long ball to Werner and pray” tactic for a while.
  5. Both Chels and Werner himself can't afford Werner being this non-clinical.
  6. Well, the latter is nothing wrong, every reasonable manager, or even every manager, full stop, has to deal with buys that are not always his initiative. Here it's different, because FL and everyone else wanted them.
  7. I can see it coming, motivational talk blah blah blah, bam, minute 48 – goal for west ham, lol
  8. Doesn't matter if it was Puli's or Werner's mistake on that shot. What is concerning is that it's pretty much only chance from open play we've had in this half and that's why it's being discussed for three pages, when we should have create such chance every 5 mins here.
  9. Our Indian fan friend angry rantman is gonna have intense christmas time, rightly so, lol Hope we'll win it any way, no matter the style, 3 points is a must here
  10. I actually wonder if Frank has some totally unconventional plan in his pocket. Everyone in the world knows our tactics, all the teams know what we'll do, given we do pretty much what Mou did years ago, we can't rely purely on skill to beat them. Some creative deviations from this system is needed, either on individual on team level and it's up to manager to cause it.
  11. Huge contrast to Everton game how rarely the play is paused; Ref looks rather liberal, what is not a great thing with rather physical team like WHU
  12. I wonder if it's Frank or Werner himself who is pushing for starting every match, but Timo looks totally fatigued, what is understandable. Or he had missed his morning coffee. Either way, he lacks freshness and reflexes, this guy needs a rest or he won't fire up ever.
  13. Who's shouting like a lady seagull from the bench there, lol
  14. I hope Mendy manages to keep a clean sheet here; He's on a slippery patch and could surely use some confidence boost
  15. He got a tons of space, but a class header, no doubt
  16. WTF WAS THIS Offside, we are lucky, but he lost our defenders completely
  17. Genuinely smiled when saw Rob Green input, especially given he looks really eloquent guy. I think everything to be said was already said in this topic; It's a toxic situation for Kepa and toxic situation for Chelsea. Last season he had regressed below level of top-flight football so I can't really see a team that could be interested in either loan of buy, sport-wise. Actually, with his reputation, joining any other team would be no less pressure, than playing here. I guess he would have to redempt himself, showing some quality in Chelsea and that think about moving elsewhere, but it's unlikely he'll get a chance. Maybe some troubled / in transition team could make use of him, like Monaco or Herta, or Netherlands / Portugal could be a way, but it's unlikely due to finances. Tough situation, but I keep my fingers crossed it will come out good for Kepa and CFC somehow.
  18. Don't even want to comment on Lampard, but this entire team should meet Johnny Terry in the office in the morning. No engagement, no focus, nothing, amateurs, unacceptable.
  19. Sure. However lack of ideas, cohesion and will to fight, that last's since a loooong + apparent lack of ideas from Frank + fact we are powerless without wings makes me think that something is on the verge of burning out and needs some fresh ideas & energy, otherwise I am no optimist in bigger perspective.
  20. Looks like we're going downward slope, hope we'll rather change the direction soon, than gain speed, lol
  21. I don't even want to think about Atletico after looking at this tonight
  22. Not even a contact at all, what is this theatre about
  23. Apart from score, it's super frustrating it's another match we cause absolutely no threat to a mid-table team.
