  1. Looks like Maresca must brace for cooking with the innovative, yet primary-school PE classic, the omnipotent 0-2-8 all-men-push, makes no sense otherwise
  2. Fuck me, A RACE, there is no race, no one wants him. Except Clearlake, as usual
  3. Admire? maybe, but can't help the feeling those people are children in the fog pr-wise, ridiculously bad. Saudis are about as sketchy as it gets, but can't hate those guys for first taking our super expensive, failed players away and now perhaps saving us from ourselves (or rather board's visionnary ideas). My only fear is now how many millions will be spent on panic buy ridiculous championship-level pointless dross in next few hours.
  4. Bought Jackson to be your superstar, put your hands under ass instead on cash trigger and play freaking Jackson then. No one will become decent player sitting on bench.
  5. Funny this ownership, fans having all the reasons to be happy when we miss out on transfer targets is kinda unique.
  6. Just wait for the classic 23:45 announcement "Board have been long time admirers of Osimhen's talent and decided to pay Napoli 200 mil fee and 50 in bonuses and agreed to destroy the wage structure they've been doing everything around for past 3 years, hand out 500k pw and rename Stamford Bridge to Casa de Osimhen, as they believe he and Mudryk are future Chelsea superstars"
  7. If Clearlake has no intention to fix GK and CB, I'd be totally fine with ending the shopping bonanza and just focus on outgoings. If so much effort was done to cut the wage bill and allegedly many actually good players were rejected due to "not fitting the wage structure" I don't really see a point of going back around and paying 300k to VO or Sancho, while other guys make half of it and either of them is low yeld high risk move. Let Maresca do with what we have, at least we will always have the excuse of no firepower in worst case.
  8. Unfortuantely kinda expected that building upon Wolves game momentum will look like this in our signature execution.
  9. The closer to deadline day, the more content-less tweets, recycled 1723627 times as a "news". Teams talking, looking into yada yada, zero meaning.
  10. Mostly interested in Jorgensen's performance here
  11. To get rid of unwanted player on high wages. The question is why would WE do it?
  12. The fact Chelsea is taking part of something that seems to be a bidding war with Saudi club is mind boggling for me. This is totally no contest situation, you either chose to play football or be a jester on a stick for a retirement fund. What is next? Trying to snatch moves to MLS and Brazil's 2nd division? Especially worrying that ClearlakeBluecowhatever seems to get bit too fixated on those moves and forget the reality around and the reality around is that Napoli wants to get rid of this fella, so why even do all this dancing around? Put an offer on the table, take it or leave it, they have no other real choice anyway (and that should be alarming on its own)
  13. Owners with minimum decency and gravitas should put it straight - your agents leak this kind of shit = deal is over. Meanwhile we will be throwing cash under feet of another meh player, who in addition seems to have high chance of being a knobhead, believing he will “save us” in same manner the footballing god Enzo Fernandez does.
  14. Sounds like saving a toast with ham for a grande finale of cooking show-off. Feels like 5th or so season when looking for the striker is trying to splurge for somewhat decent-ish of all the not convincing ones. Our cb's and gk are shaky at best, doubt that additional 5-7 goals per season will compensate for it.
  15. Or just didn't fancy being locked up in Saudi Arabia golden cage, don't think money is a problem for him after all those years in Chelsea.
  16. Seen in interviews with players coming back from there (not the CR7 tier, rather local-league tier) that (allegedly) the issue is, they will pay the contract. If they want to. If clubs don't find the player or the club performing to their liking or not really in financial position to do so, well, too bad. What u gonna do? Rises the questions: - Had Clearlake not checked before? If so, congrats - Did they make it up now? If so, P*** off - Do City Group does it and no one bats an eye?
  17. Thought the original concept was pushing someone to United for FFP shenanigans and getting Sancho as a side effect, instead of getting high-wages, doubtful-workrate washed out player into team overcrowded by 15 men being the point in itself.
  18. Hopefully Osimhen's crew will sabotage this deal enough for Clearlake to pass. I way more prefer trash players over toxic players. Just yesterday everyone popped champagne Lukaku is finally gone, now we are standing on the edge of same shit, but with way more red flags around.
  19. Chelsea have been long-term admirers of Mudryk as well, this admiration alone is a good enough reason to stay the hell away.
  20. If any reports of what VO is doing are true, this is doppelLukaku or worse. If owners are still going to pursue him I'm losing all the faith I've got left. Don't know about England, but in many countries deliberately ruining the company you own is pretty much a felony.
  21. Doubt the board will let him to. No high wages, unsellable, reportedly Clearlake "firmly believes in him", but that may also mean they are aware he is unsellable atm.
  22. Still kinda flabbergasted with legendary shithousery from Madueke, wonder what got his gears grinding about Wolverhampton so much 😂
  23. Stunning second half. At times we actually looked like Chelsea should. Some coherent football, pushing, working, thinking. Actually being able to convert chances. Didn't expect to see Cucurella looking like proper footballer, even Caicedo doing something. Still we got another confirmation there is no point for Mudryk and Sanchez in this team, especially given we have plenty of options up front and more than plenty goalkeepers. Still a lot of carelessness and wastefulness, but if only this team could keep this level up and build from it, wow. Hope it wasn't a fluke and players trying to run from Maresca's axe or just Wolves crumbling. On other note, doubt that handing cards for players protesting and not showing replays is a way to fix terrible refeering of the games.
  24. Not sure if literally the 3rd choice Brighton GK is any improvement over it though. I can't see Kepa not going as he had pretty much manifested total lack of faith in this project (can understand him), haven't seen any news, so smells bit Saudi/Turkey/MLS move.
