Of course not, who knows whats in Terry's mind. The fact is that when the media was reporting the news about the Manchester offer, many days passed and Terry did not said that he was going to stay here forever and no money could put him in another club. Mark Hughes said one time "If Terry did not sayd anything at the moment, maybe its because hes thinking about our offer". So he got a pay rise, become the highest paid football player in England, and after weeks of speculation he said said leaving 'was never a possibility'. He also said that Chelsea's ambition and Carlo Ancelotti were among his key reasons for staying. Thats what I think about that soap opera, but I understand that some people dont agree. There was an article on cfcnet.co.uk during that period called "JT isnt leaving Chelsea, He is Chelsea"...thats made me think how some people put players and clubs at same level, but im not up to this kind of blind idolatry.

Its not about football culture. Terry only stayed at Chelsea because he got a pay rise. Dont be fool.

When I said soccer, I was joking with him...but there was an english guy yesterday that said something like that to an american here, in the topic about Chelsea x Everton: "Soccer? We call it football", I nobody said something about that. Again, and again some guys here say things about me being brazilian. I never thought that because im from Brazil I know more about football than everybody else, but your comment has now a +6 reputation, it shows how some guys think: "This guy is from Brazil, so he thinks he understant more about football than everybody else". Thats why everytime there is someone who try to make brazilian football looks ridiculous, and thats strange because I never said one bad word about leagues in India, USA, Nedherlands, German, Portugal, Africa, Australia, Spain, Italy, China, Iceland... I do believe that some guys here must be in love with me... So lets try to discuss about Chelsea and get off my back !
-
Nice. But why the american flag if you are english ?
-
I hope that you are here to also discuss about Chelsea, not only try to sell the shirt.
-
Let me guess...you are a rich american guy who is a "soccer" fan, right ?

Chelsea cant always rely on Roman´s money. Football is business, he cant put his money and only get debts...but for me he is using bad his money. He should have sold Terry to City for example, and sold Drogba after last season due to his high wages and 32 years. Chelsea bought superb players in the past for low price: Lampard: £11 million Hasselbaink: £15 million Gudjonsen: £4 million Now Chelsea only get players for no less than 16 millions...Ramires is far from being worth 17 millions. People say he will turn a superb player, but for a guy who was paid 17 millions for, you expect at least a player that is ready to rock. Now there is some rumours that Chelsea is going to pay 30 millions for David Luiz, and we offered 28 millions for Neymar last season... We have two strikers in the first team that are in their 30, and then young guys that are sub-20. So there is a big gap between them...so you cant put Drogba on the bench, where he deserves to be in last games, because all that you have are kids to replace him. Thats why I say Carlo is not what Chelsea needs now. Like Mourinho, he only do a good job when he can work with a stellar squad. They are the kind of guy who only want players from top clubs in Europe, they cant look for example for the mid table teams in england to try a good player. So if Chelsea let Ballack, Deco, Joce Cole and Belletti go, you sign another midifielder, right ? But what Carlo did ? Looked to Liverpool and bought Benayoun, who is 30...do you really believe if the israeli was playing for Bolton he would ever sign for us ?? Its the same to supporters. Everytime when you see speculations about Chelsea trying a player who is not in a top club in Europe, or that are not kid superstars like Lukaku or Neymar you see guys saying: "I dont want him" "We don need him". We need new players, that are hungry to be recognized as great players. We have too many players on the pitch that are lazy, and seems tired of playing "small clubs" in England.
-
How did you get a Drogba shirt in Chicago ??
-
We should think that our chances in Premier League are remote. Lest hope we get into next Champions League. We have a good chance in CL, when we will have Lampard back, and in Europe seems that some "money hunters" players play a litte better..., specially if we get a nice draw.
-
What an awesome flag your country has !
-
I know, but im coparing Didier and Jimmy, I did not create this topic to put the african down...he is superb striker. He is good, was superb in last season. Put Shevchenko on the bench... but Hasselbaink was as good as him, if not better. I wanted to know if Chelsea´s supporters had the same feellings I have about him. Its a shame that Mourinho spend money on Kezman when we already had Jimmy.
-
Its not going to be the case if Manchester got a gap of 8 or 10 points.
-
agree with you guys. Wenger always said that Arsenal could no longer spend money in the same level Chelsea and Manchester were doing, since they spend money on Emirates Stadium, and so there was time to keep the faith on the youth. Nasri looked an avarage player last seasons, but is one of the best in the current. Ancelotti keep saying that Chelsea´s squad is superb, that we dont need strikers, because we have two old strikers in the first team. If we are supposed to be 4 matches (maybe more) whitout winning is better do that with young players, so they can develop themselves.
-
I dont get that...Anelka was one of the best player on the pitch and Drogba the worst, and people blame Anelka...The french fought, and Didier looks like that just care about winning Champions League before retiring, and people still asks for Nicolas' head and end up sayind that Didier is one the best of all time.
-
First half was far from being good. Was avarage, and in the second hald was awful. What im saying is, when a supporter compain about bad results, some call them glory hunters. But see, an Everton supporter cant ask for their team to play a top club football and fight for Premier League title. The amount of money invested on the club is not at the same level the kind of money invested in Manchester United, City or Chelsea. A City supporter couldnt ask for the Premier League tittle two years ago, but now they can. Same to Chelsea. If you ask Terry to play here more years instead going to City, he will say that will only do that if you pay him more money, other ones just leave when you dont pay them what they want, like Joe Cole. They must play a football that is good enough to fight for trophies. Period. Is the same to managers whot got loads of money.
-
Agree. Members who think that we should be happy with this performance. They are unbeliavable, and the ones who put -1 in the comments that say that our momment is really difficult. Unbeliavable. We are playing really bad, some players seems that just dont care, we will have 3 difficult games, there are 5 teams fighting for 4 CL places, and Chelsea is the one who is playing the worst football...Chelsea is the football club that has the highest wages in the world. Should we be happy with this relegation football ? Gimme a break.
-
he was right, sad but that the true...
-
I hope we still will be in top 4 in January, after facing Spurs, Manchester and Arsenal...and playing like this. Fuck off. I love Ancelotti and he should stay here forever, same to Kalou, Mikel and Ferreira...
-
Vai tomar no cú Kalou, pqp...
-
One guy asked in ESPN Brasil if Chelsea miss Big Phill. lol. The comentators said: no way!!! lol
-
What a superb goal!!!!
-
Yellow?? WTF ?!
-
Anelka is doing a good match and Drogba a terrible. People ask for the frenchs head... strange.
-
We have FA Cup and games that are easier than against Everton. Anyway, Arsenal and Spurs winning, we must win this match!! I dont think its absurd to think about us ending in 5th place...
-
Hes good, but didnt learn how to play in England yet, until that, the best place for him is on the bench.
