The Athletic previously reported that Chelsea had agreed a £34.5million (€40m) deal with their La Liga counterparts for Omorodion. He was expected to sign a seven-year contract with the option of a further year that would run until 2032. However the deal has fallen through after the south west London club were unable to finalise personal terms with the 20-year-old.
