I just cant watch anymore.

I watched both USMNT games and although fun to watch Pulisic run through defenses like it was FIFA 21... at some point you have to sigh and acknowledge it was total shit teams he was doing it against. I did like the stones he showed by taking the ball and deciding he would take the penalty. but its not enough... it is less fulfilling than playing FIFA

The answer might be we don't get a striker and Tuchel plays with the attacking players we have. Silva is not got that many years left and we need one more quality CB. A bigger problem is reducing the players we have.

Another thing Pulisic would have grown up with is the Closer in MLB. It is a prestigious position, often overshadowing the starting pitchers. He might be more comfortable with coming off the bench as people might think.

He is not as much Captain America as you would believe. That is a media thing. His teammates do not look at him as team leader. I think people are making assumptions about him. He might be perfectly happy with where he is right now.

It doesn't matter if it is the NBA or not. It is the culture he grew up with. He may be perfectly happy coming off the bench. I have not read a complaint from him yet.

Nobody has bothered to understand if Pulisic is even bothered coming off the bench? Growing up in the U.S., he is aware that in the NBA the 6th man that comes off the bench to give instant offense is held in high regard. The 6th man of the year is a pretty big award.

Dying on the pitch is going to be a little more difficult with two of their starters missing the first game. We knew they would give everything.

He played well. It is funny that people are giving Timo credit when he is having a good game but not scoring, but are super harsh on Pulisic. I hope he comes good, but there is no sense in ragging the kid when he plays well. Of all the bad performance yesterday, his was not one of them.
