We were just too defensive for far too long. Lukaku and Werner were isolated up front with the midfield not able to transition the ball forward. We are going to lose games, hopefully that game plan gets buried. Lukaku is still a great acquisition. Our run is going to be determined by the wins against mid table and lower table teams that we had far too many draws and loses against last year. We are fooling ourselves if we thought we were favorites to win the league going into this game. Our team still has growth to move forward, growth I can see this squad making. It was nice to see RLC moving well on the pitch with and without the ball. Our best is still ahead of us this season.

So some people at Bayern wanted him and others did not, but now Nagelsmann is there and he really likes Werner.

I think it would take paying at least 50M pounds to get him. That is pretty high past their record signing. I think Bayern is a possibility as he and Naglesmann still have a close relationship. They still talk, some say weekly.

I thought he was better at the start of the game. One or two touches and pass. As the half went on he started dribbling more and passes got more risky. I really love the player he was and hope that he can get some of that back. Thankfully it is a loan.

I don't think Chilwell is getting a pass. I think people have been asking why is Tuchel not giving Chilwell a chance and now we are seeing why and it is quite shocking from when he came to the team.
