I think his agent is playing the long game and de Jong is doing exactly what his agent says… keep saying you love it at Barca and you have no desire to leave. If Frankie jumped at the chance to leave, nobody is going to pay his Barca wages. The closer it gets to the end of the window, a big club might decide to pay.
