Puli is not replacing Sterling or Havertz. He is not better than either. If he wore shooting boots maybe, but he didn’t do much of that in the WC either. He did play with a lot of determination and energy.
I didn’t take that as comparing. Just that the club has produced two players that developed into first team players at big clubs. The idea of gambling on young talent, is there will be duds, but when several of them hit, the gamble is worth it.
