  1. It stems from us completely losing the midfield battle.
  2. Our attacks consist of one of our CBs or wing backs just booting the ball up and hoping for the best. Really poor.
  3. They have too much time on the ball. We'll get punished.
  4. Just got my Matic cam on, the amount of players ghosting past him is a joke.
  5. Superb from Eriksen really. Notice how much time Eriksen has? Why is Matic giving him so much time on the ball. Useless.
  6. How is Matic effecting the game today? He's literally been a ghost. A cone.
  7. He's actually spot on more often than not. What he said was true. Tottenham have had a good half but I understand that he wants CFC on the front foot a bit more.
  8. Whatever happens in the second we can see that this Tottenham side isn't as invincible as many of you think.
  9. But when what you know is essentially having you play with 10 men... we've been playing with 10 men since January. Costa has added literally nothing since then. Should've been dropped a lot earlier.
  10. Agreed. Don't understand how he hasn't been playing ahead of Diego.
  11. Ake at LCB so refreshing. So good to have a left footed passer there. Creating loads of chances.
  12. Guy hasn't started for years and his finishing has never been the best, so rusty finishing is expected imo.
  13. Hazardless and we're playing ok. Proud of the boys.
  14. Well, Hugo should've be been off there. Makes up for the penalty.
  15. Batman's link up play has been so refreshing. Completely created that penalty.
  16. He's only had about 4/5 bad games so far this season, not fair to say he's a "nightmare waiting to happen".
  17. He's on a fantastic run atm but we shouldn't take it as the norm. It's difficult to keep up. What's with so many people wanting him now anyway? He's not old or experienced enough to be our number 1 striker. As I suggested some time ago I wouldn't mind him in the Pedro role though (i.e. second striker), but he's going to cost a lot.
  18. I have similar thoughts about him, I mentioned it at length in the post. That's the main question mark - can he translate his dominance vs. smaller teams to the bigger games?
  19. I'm the same. I think my opinion changed on him when I started seeing Didier vouching for him often. Such is my love for the Ivorian.
  20. Absolutely fine with Ake replacing Cahill, it's Moses we have to worry about.
  21. Lukaku isn't better than Costa yet - but they are on a similar level. Never forget that Costa lead Atletico to the title in a supposed 2 team league. I've been happy with his development at Everton - he still needs to improve aspects of his game but he's been on the right track. He seems a lot lighter on his feet and honestly isn't a downgrade technically on Costa (even top form Costa). He's a Chelsea fan and has unfinished business here. His mentor is Didier. I find myself warming to the idea more and more. First and foremost, he's a flat track bully - scores lots and lots against the smaller teams which is what you need. He has the capability to explode in a match and score 3, 4 goals, which is why he's top scorer ATM. I don't see that with Diego; Lukaku is a much sharper finisher than him. It's his influence in big games I worry about a bit - it's something of a risk. Will he produce in the biggest of biggest games? The boy's turning into a man. If he's available for £50/60m, do we take a risk on him? On the boy who's dreamt about conquering Stamford Bridge? I genuinely wouldn't mind. He's a good striker, good enough for us anyway. He still has the possibility to elevate his game too. On his day he can be unstoppable - the real question is whether he can be on his day consistently here. I guess we'll see...
  22. We beat Soton and Everton and there's no way they're catching us imo.
  23. Ousmane @ Dortmund. He is the most talented - Ballon D'Or level talent.
