People say he is best player in the league for years but when you think about it... He is soon 30yo, has just 2 PL titles and in one of these seasons played just 28.4% of PL games. Unless City win many big trophies in the next 3 or 4 years his career is nothing special. I mean for someone he people would label as one of the best PL players in history...

City won 98 points that season. KDB played 974 minutes in the PL of possible 3420. He played just 28.4% of games. And 3 of their 4 losses came with him in the squad. Liverpool conceded more goals in 4 games with VVD this season than in all others without him this season in the PL and CL. They beat Barca 4:0 with Origi, Shaqiri... They have systems. I do not understand this narrative that we suffer because of the injuries. Pulisic played yesterday. CHO is not even on the bench when everyone is fit. And why all this talk like we are one man team with Ziyech. All his goals came in 3 games against 3 shit teams.

One huge difference here. They are both great at pressing but in real defensive play they are different players. Conor can easily play DM, Mount can not. No matter who new manager is he is going to play regularly. But look how fast is his progress: Charlton - half season, Chelsea thought he was too good to fight for Championship relegation and moved him to better team. Charlton fans were angry because he was their best player and with him they were safe but got relegated after they lost him.
